OJ's Diner is a typical local diner serving traditional southern local food. The menu changes along the week. Customers praise the delicious food, cooked by themselves. A meat and two veg plus tea is available for 13.50. The turkey in dressing is excellent, and the turnip greens are out of sight. The fried fish special with new potatoes and fried chicken with mac and cheese are also popular. Portion sizes are generous. The food has a great taste, though it can be a little dry if it has been sitting out. The restaurant is a little on the pricy side. Coffee is not included with meals and costs extra. The parking lot is a downside. Servers like Mary and Sharon are the very best. The diner is not too crowded at 1pm and has lots of local customers on-site.
