La Retta's Pizzeria soon to be Sandbar Pizza Joint

Ordered 3 pizzas and some wings. ALL of it was stone gold on pickup. The ribeye pizza had very little if any meat. For $100 I surely expected better food than this. I could have bought frozen pizzas to cook at home and been better satisfied. Wouldn’t recommend at all. BTW, this is my first ever review on a business, but they really need to up their game. Not sure even 1 star but couldn’t send without clicking.

Never received, was told it was delivered to a dad with two kids, pregnant woman not happy about not getting her pizza after 75 minutes of waiting.

Looking for a quick lunch. Had a very good Calzone and my wife had a very good steak sub. Sat on the deck and enjoyed the food and weather.

Picked up a family size Greek salad. Excellent. Fresh ingredients with plenty of toppings for 4 big servings. Will order again.

not bad at all for an out of the way place. Youd think you were eating dominos if you were blindfolded. sauce is ok, cheese and toppings proportional. Staff is pleasant. Tiny indoor storefront with beach tables out front. If your kids are hungry for pizza, this is a good spot. Otherwise, buy a pizza from food lion and cook it the way you like it.

We had pizza here twice, delicious!!!!!! The people were pleasant. We did take out, highly recommend!!!

Pizza here was really good. Catching them open in the fall seems to be difficult.

We called our order in and 25 minutes later it was ready. A delicious large pepperoni pizza and a Caesar salad that really hit the spot tonight! Great service and delicious food! Better than five stars.

I would NEVER go to LaRettas. The restaurant was open till 8 & we walked in at 7:40 pm. The open sign was on and the door open. I even called prior to ask their hours. I asked to order a submarine sandwich. The owner was at the counter talking with someone. The girl told him the food was put away. He said no that they were closed. I asked if any food was available and he said no. It doesn’t take long to make a sub sandwich. It’s not like I was asking for a pizza, which would take longer. An argument ensued. I told her they didn’t care and she said “no I don’t”. They were very rude and not accommodating.I guess they don’t believe in customer service and were not affected by decrease in business due to COVID. They also didn’t have masks on. STAY AWAY!

Love their plain cheese large calzones. Best place to eat in Edisto.

Was better last time I ordered, but still good pizza, very decent amount of toppings the crust is soft and has a good flavor. As far as the price goes it seems a little pricey but not very many pizza places in the area so it's worth buying it locally than traveling further just to have a cold pizza when you get back on the island.

Oh my goodness, we just had one of the best pizza meals ever. Salads were fresh, pizza was delicious, girls at the counter were very nice and helpful! We had the White pizza, the Margherita pizza and the Meat Lovers pizza and each one of them was great! We shared two Family size salads (Greek and Ceasar). Plenty of food for our table of six. We HIGHLY recommend this place!

The pizza and salad were VERY good, they were out of wings though. Definitely would recommend this place for lunch or dinner!

We did carry out. Pizza not too hot when arrived back at condo (7 min ride) Pizza was very good though after heated in oven. Very tasty and good crispy crust when hot. Service not as good. Personnel not very friendly.
