Staff and atmosphere is great. Food is ho hum. Avoid anything with fish. They have their own spin on many classic dishes. Be prepared if you are expecting traditional flavors, a little bit of a let down. It is convenient, but wont be our 1st option next time.

We have been coming here for many years when we're at Edisto, but this time we were definitely disappointed. We were seated within 5 minutes of arrival, party of 5 at about 7pm, but waited 1 hour for our food. Server never came to the table. The hostess saw that nobody had come by the table, and she came and took our drink and food order. We never saw our server until she brought out the food 1 hour later. During that hour of waiting, nobody ever came to check on drinks, offer refills, ect. We ordered an appetizer, but it didn't come out until after the food came. Server did bring the food out, but she was clearly not concerned about anything other than bringing the plates and her job was done. They were out of hushpuppies, but no offer was made for any replacement in place of them. The food was good, but didn't seem like the quality or quantity was quite what it had been previously.

Nasty dirty place. High prices for poor quality food. Hamburger meat was cheap quality. Texture was like bologna. Over priced.

Seated with no wait, service was attentive and fios was excellent. We spent $61 (including tip) for shrimp and chips and fish and chips plus two ice teas.

Food was very good. Everything was clean and very casual. No need to dress up however you do want to arrive for 6 PM to be able to get a table. All seating is outdoors so plan accordingly for the weather. Some areas have a screened in porch like setting and another area is not screened in typical American casual fare. Plenty of parking.
