This is a soul food place. I love soul food. I was visiting this area from out of town. I saw Bert's and had to have soul food. The restaunt is easy to see from the road. It has easy parking and handicap access. I was quite surprised at rhe prices. I got the smothered Pork chop. It's 1 pork chop with 3 sides for almost $18.00. My opinion is that that is too much. I say tgat because where I call home, I get three pork chops,and three sides for about 13.00 or 14.00. Maybe this restaurant is in a better area with higher income level per household. But for me and what im use to, the price is high.

What a hidden gem. Great food and service. The atmosphere was so inviting and comfortable. Richard was a pleasure to speak with and get to know. We look forward to stopping in again. Thank you for the awesome experience. 5 stars!

Food was ok, but Way way over priced. Plan on spending $20 a person if you eat here. It is a cute place and the service was ok.

You get a choice of 3 sides ! No double order on a sides ! He missed out on a $75 dollar to go order over $9 !!! Smart business man !!

First time I ate here it was cooked fresh while I waited. The food was delicious. Ive tried a couple more times and each time it was salty, dry and taste like it was cooked in a microwave. I was really disappointed. Don't know what changed. The first time I tried it, it was delicious. This will be my last time.

Unfortunately, I was only able to taste the food as it was entirely too salt. This coming from someone who likes salt and well seasoned food.

Such RIP OFF PRICE, very small portion....I was just went there for dinner this evening, foods it taste good. good fav., lady that serving me and my husband was super nice, and professional but just too slow, 3.5 stars for her service
