“This was our first time dining at Southern Mamas, prompted by a video on social media. Our overall experience was good. The food was okay. I opted for fish, although I went to try the chicken. The fish was well seasoned, but the batter was very cakey. All the veggies were well seasoned.The waitress was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, very attentive. It was really busy- but we were still served quickly. The atmosphere was welcoming.”

“Fantastic food and such a revelation in Pontiac. I just got back from 2 weeks in Puerto Vallarta and Mexico City and the tacos were as good as I had there. T we started with the ceviche , also perfect. Deserts were also delicious. 5 stars”

“This is the best BBQ I’ve had in South Carolina and I’ve been everywhere. Before today I didn’t like hash and avoided it but his hash is so delicious! I give them 5 stars and it’s because they deserve it. My only complaint is I wish they had sweet tea. Get it to go or eat picnic style outside.Kid-friendliness: They have Mac & cheese and bbq items that kids would like and it’s right next to a public park and playground.”

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant, visiting almost once a week. The food is consistently good, great chips and salsa. Alex, Carlos, Lydia and the rest of the gang always make us feel welcomed. Can't forget the margaritas, best around!”

“Ate here for the first time and I was blown away. My chicken burrito was so tasty and seasoned to perfection. The white cheese sauce on the top was to die for. Chips and dip was excellent, refried beans with cheese on top was fantastic, same with the rice. Guac and guac salad was delicious. I can't think of the first thing I didn't like. They told me 20 minutes, and when I walked in after 15 minutes it was waiting for me on the top of the bar, and they spoke to me right away. Awesomeness. A+. I'll be back soon to dine in and get it hot off the plate.”

“I always get take out delivered. In the past my orders were wrong and ingredients were poor. This last order was spot on and food seemed like a better quality. So far they've upped their game. Keep up the good work. Also they're the only Pizza place that comes out to my house in Elgin.”

“We usually pick food up via the drive thru. Always great flavor and filling. I had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The crust soft and chewy, not overly cooked. The toppings were even distributed and it was just enough cheese.My daughter had the Greek chicken with yellow rice and onions/peppers. She said the chicken was seasoned and paired well with the rice and veggies. If you're an onions and peppers person, you would definitely enjoy this as they give you plenty!”

“Came here for the first time as an early birthday dinner with some friends, I loved the nicks napalm wings (so so good and not unbearable in heat) margaritas were good and my husband got a Guinness, most places pour it wrong and it loses flavor but he enjoyed this one! Will definitely be back!”

“I love China Wok, I have tried their fried cut wings (9/10) with shrimp fried rice(8/10), crab rangoons(10/10). They have yellow rice and its okay but not the traditional white fried rice I like. Service is great! 9/10 overall!”
