“Just a down home country boy that values great food and pleasant people to serve that food and that’s exactly what my family and I found at the Windmill restaurant. The service is outstanding carried out by caring staff who welcomes us with smiles and seats us as quickly as they can. The restaurant is clean as are the rest rooms. The price of the food is in line with the portions. Reading this review,one might get the impression that we know the people who own and staff this restaurant. That would be an incorrect impression because we don’t know the names of any of those people! Bon appetite.😉”

“My wife and I have been coming to your restaurant for years now and love it! I told her tonight, in fact, that it is one of - if not THE - most consistent restaurants as far as preparation of food that is in the surrounding Columbia area. Also, our server, Christina (sp) is always spot on in her delivery, her understanding of the menu, and service and we look forward to having her wait on us each and every time. “Live music on Fridays is such a nice vibe. Paired with a great smash burger and friendly service made date night a good night. Burger was flavorful, not a fan of the BBQ sauce (glad I got it on the side). Salad was great and the gfs nachos were good as well. The shredded chicken was a little dry, but it was seasoned well. “I was in town briefly and came across this BBQ place. I recently moved to SC and live up in Lake Wylie SC. It's been hard to find a good BBQ joint. I found one. I got the Pulled pork sandwich to go. Now I make pretty good BBQ myself and I'm very particular about, smoke, tenderness, texture, etc. This was as good as I've eaten in the State. The sandwich made it out to my truck but it was gone before I left the parking lot. Wonderful.”

“I was hesitate after the DHEC inspection they failed horrible about 6months ago. I been eating there for almost 20 years since I moved to Winnsboro. I wish they keep things up after the last inspection. They have really good food but food safety for any establishment is key. Everyone desires a second chance. They did good on this Boneless chicken with chicken fried rice.”
