“It was my first time here. I was celebrating my 40th birthday. It was amazing! Excellent staff and prompt service. There was 7 of us and we never had to wait for drinks and the food came quickly. It was slow at the time granted, but I am planning on going back MANY times. Great place!”

“Food was delicious. You order at the counter. Customer Service was great. I ordered the fish plate. Came with 2 pieces of fish and seasoned fish and coleslaw. For a great price. Husband had a number 1 2 chili dogs and a side. Lots of food for a great price. Liked that it was a mom and pop place. Definitely A great deal.”

“Went in to try this establishment for the first time. I orderd the corned beef deli sandwich on Jewish rye. The sandwich had plenty of meat, and it was delicious. I was definitely impressed! The service, and the atmosphere is very inviting.”

“The only reason I rated this a 4 was because we stopped for lunch and they had a very limited menu. Also, it didn't look lije much table seating, there was stools up at the bar and outside seating, but who wants to sit outside in 90 degree heat and bugs! And being in South Carolina I'm sure it's like that at least half the year! Also...the lighting was horrible, made it hard to see what you're eating , we're a bit older and don't have young eyes, and would have been much worse if they didn't have this little I guess led lamp on the table. With all this being said...I would go back, food was good, waitress super nice and accommodating.

Parking: Parking is just a bit tight and if busy..you may have to walk further than you want

Kid-friendliness: Not sure about bringing kids in here to eat especially if they can't sit still. It's a bit tight in there for walking.”

“The food and service are relatively good however the drink prices are ridiculous. A tea bag costs 4 cents and they charge $3.50 for a hot tea. A normal price at most places is $2.50 or less. I only get water when I go now.”

“The hostess tried to seat us at a dirty table but we switched bc she just walked away. Our food was ok but not great. My chicken was tasty but the fries seemed old/stale. Green beans were good. My husband's salmon blt was just ok. But Abby our waitress did an awesome job!! We won't go back tho”

“Passing through town and had to check this place out especially for the new pinball machine “Jaws”. The BLT I had with their in house made bread was fantastic along with a wonderful beer selection. They also have many craft can beers for purchase, wish I had taken the time to check them out. Looking forward to sporting my t-shirt I purchased.”

“This coiffed is a consistent 5 star! While traveling in Columbia , SC my family told me we had to stop here and I was not disappointed. The drink menu had so many delicious options you can’t go wrong with any choice , what makes these drinks pop is Barts makes flavored whip cream to accentuate each drink’s flavors. I loved the customer service I ordered mine 1/2 sweet and it was delicious, a lot of times when you order flavored drinks half sweet the barista doesn’t get the ratios right. My mom is diabetic and when she received her drink it was too sweet and she asked if they could cut the flavor with more coffee and they offered to make her a sugar free version. My mom usually doesn’t like sugar free but she took a chance and came out a winner! She loved it. This is one of the best coffee spots for everyone. When traveling in Columbia, SC stop by and give your taste buds a treat.

“I've been here a few times over the past year when I'm in the area and it's definitely a good local place to hang out. Crowd is a good vibe and the bartenders of all been very friendly and easy to talk to. Good selection of drinks and basic bar food options. Had the nachos last night and they were pretty decent. My only issue was the cheese itself in my opinion was a little much. Didn't taste bad but it was really heavy. Prices are good and I would definitely recommend spending an evening here with some live music or pool!”

“Why have I been sleeping on this place for so long?? Staff is super friendly. The chicken Alfredo is creamy, rich and delicious. The spaghetti is acidic with a tart tomato taste, great though! The noodles are interesting, thicker yet delicious. The pizza was great too. The cheese they use has such a rich authentic taste. The star of the show... don't laugh... the salad with pecans and gorgonzala cheese, don't forget the raspberry vinegarette dressing! I would like to add a suggestion of chopping up the pecans please to smaller sizes.”

“Great atmosphere at this family-friendly favorite in Irmo! We always love to come here for the excellent always fresh food and for the overall experience. Every employee in the store not only greeted us with the famous “welcome to Moe’s” but we had genuine conversations with almost every employee there. The guys fixing our food were friendly and funny, the cashier was sweet and outgoing, and the manager even came by our table to make sure that our dining experience was satisfactory. We couldn’t have had a better experience.”

“A friendly, eclectic, and interesting clientele, ranging from ex-athletes; business owners; alluring femme fatales; showbiz folks; rich guys; and down-to-earth, pretty pool playing gals. There's a surprisingly wide libation selection for an establishment that has probably the best prices in the Columbia, SC area. I enjoy the wine and occasionally a Guinness! The bar "maids" provide a "room with a view" and always look out for regulars and new patrons alike. Restrooms are clean, the area safe, close parking is plentiful, five sports tv screens, free wifi, and the jukebox is just right. Sometimes there's comedy or live music or a dj. Try it... you'll like it!”

I’m about to walk back in and buy a big size. I’m not lying. It was the best from Starbucks I’ve ever had. Angel made the samples. Gal knows what she’s doing. Give her more responsibility. She has a gift of customer interaction and professionalism. This is coming from someone who purchases local roast herself and typically makes it at home with her Rocket espresso machine. It was GOOD.”

The veggies were fresh and although some people do not like the veggies cut so large, I think they are perfect. Egg rolls were scrumptious and large . We had soup which was still piping hot when arriving home, house fried rice was perfection. Plenty of leftovers. Love, love, love .”

“I have eaten in here, but I usually get take out. The food is pretty good and the portions are generous. I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, they do all of them well. I'm a big fan of their hamburger steak. They have real mac and cheese (come on, you know what I mean). I'm going to be honest. I don't think Lizard's Thicket when "I could eat" or "I need a snack." I grab an orange or a bag of chips for that. I think Lizard's Thicket when I'm hungry for a decent meal and I know I can find one right down the street.”

“There food truck was at Bruzze Brewery on Lake Oconee. We were there when they opened at 4pm. The service was great and the food was outstanding. My wife got the lobster roll. I got the tacos. My wife is from New England. We also got some of their clam chowder and she says it was the best she had ever had. It only took us about five minutes to get our order after we placed it in the staff was so pleasant to communicate with.”

“Great restaurant and service was incredible. We had to have a gluten free sandwich made and the staff went over and beyond to make sure the machine and equipment was properly cleaned and maintained so that it would be safe for us. Very grateful for them!
