“Passing through town and had to check this place out especially for the new pinball machine “Jaws”. The BLT I had with their in house made bread was fantastic along with a wonderful beer selection. They also have many craft can beers for purchase, wish I had taken the time to check them out. Looking forward to sporting my t-shirt I purchased.“

“This place is what my wife has affectionately refered to as a "church of bars". Everybody here is friendly. The owners, the barkeepers, and the customers are all great. There is almost never any trouble. Since everybody knows everybody and everyone are friends, if you start trouble, you start trouble with the entire place. They have live music often. My favorite is Shrek's open mic night on fridays where everybody is more than welcome to play and even one of the bartenders gets into it and drums along either on his djembe or an upturned bucket. I have never once had a bad time here. The prices are among the lowest in the area and the people mame it an awesome spot to hang out.“

Today is my brother's birthday, who passed a couple years ago. I came in to honor a tradition we had, taking a shot of Jameson right at 10pm once a week. It was a goofy tradition we had, that I've tried to honor on his birthday since he passed.
Bit only did they help me honor that, but they poured a shot for my brother, and set him up a place at the bar so I could spend quality time with him.
Hemmys may be a local bar, but it's also filled with some of the classiest people I've ever known. Cheers!“

“Girls night was a blast! We enjoyed amazing cocktails from the pear spritz, strawberry lemon drop martini and their peach Palmer! We would highly recommend the meatloaf and pizza, they were our favorites. The views on the lake are absolutely gorgeous and worth dining at sunset. Thanks for the amazing service! We will be back!“

“I visited your establishment for the first time today. I had the Twisted Root Salad with the grilled chicken. It was really good! Our waitress was Reagan. She was very attentive, sweet and I enjoyed talking with her. We will be back.“

“My waitress was Corey a slim light skinned guy with dreads. He was rude the whole night. We first entered the restaurant there was hardly nobody there he told us it will be a 15min wait. So we sat down and waited in about 10mins 3 people passed us and went and sat down so I got up and told him then he rudely seated us. As we ordered he was looking at the game on the television and gave us no eye contact. I asked for 2 unsweet teas 1 with no ice I got two sweet teas, I told him that it was sweet an I wanted unsweetened but my husband said that he would keep his sweet tea. So the waitress picked it up and brought me a sweet tea again this time with ice when I asked for no ice. So the second time I decided to just let it sit there because he seemed upset. I placed my order and asked for an extra side of potatoes, he said they come in 3 so I said ok I want it. Then my husband asked do potatoes come with his order and the waiter said “yes do you want to add extra” my husband said “naw I’m good” when the order came I had only 3 potatoes which is what comes with the order, my husband had four potatoes that’s three that come with the order and one extra. I looked at the receipt and saw that he charged both of us for an extra order of potatoes. I told him that I don’t have an extra order in mine, and that my husband didn’t order an extra side but if he did, he should have gotten three potatoes, not one extra . He said “yes he did ask for extra” we both said no he didn’t. and he ran to the back talking loud i can hear him say “bro I swear they ordered extra potatoes. We don’t say anything else. We know what we ordered he was too busy watching the TV while we were ordering . He brought the ticket to the table and told us we can pay up front. He didn’t say thank you, have a good night or nothing he never looked back our way. he never even apologized for bringing me sweet tea both times with ice. We left him a $10 tip although he didn’t deserve a dime but he could have gotten more. I’m just not the type to leave nothing. His attitude was so nasty I will not go there again!“

“Just wanted to thank the owner for looking out for my wife and daughter after their car broke down in the parking lot on Saturday. (Red Kia Soul) He came out to ask if they were ok and even offered them each a shot as the ladies were a little upset. I got to them about 45 minutes later and the girls had ordered a couple of drinks and cheese curds, which they said were great! “Food is always good, but what stood out to me was Morgan L’s service! She was super sweet, attentive, patient, and helpful. She gave us all the time we needed, provided recommendations and was willing to talk it through with us. Also, random, but I loved her pen!! I’m a nursing student and I write a LOT - so I asked her about the pen she gave us to sign our receipt bc it worked flawlessly! Not only did she GIVE me her pen, but she also showed me the Amazon link where she purchased 😂 Being in the South, hospitality is HUGE and often lacking these days. Morgan reminded us that hospitality and excellent service still exists! She deserves appreciation for her excellent service, even if it’s just a “Morgan, you got a great review, good job!” ❤ We will be asking for her next time“

He said these were better than Ale House which was his fave, and hotter. He also did Garlic Parmesean. I got the Carolina Dip,and Onion Rings. Can I say Buffalo Portions at Hummingbird Prices, we were shocked at how inexpensive it was. I loved the Sports Bar Atmosphere. We will definitely be bk.
