“Late brunch on a Saturday. We were in Chapin shopping and heard about their great burgers. It is a bar setting with high tables and bar stools. The bar, dining area and restrooms were all clean. There were only a few patrons when we arrived, but customers were arriving as we were finishing. We were promptly waited on and the food arrived promptly. The hamburgers were large and dressed with mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce, tomato and onions. I had wing chips and my wife had sidewinders (curly potatoes). Everything was fresh and tasty. We'll go back next time we are in Chapin.“
“Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: We had a wonderful Easter brunch at Chapin Chop House in 2024. Our server, Angela, was excellent—knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs. The three-course meal was delicious, and Angela's service made the experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, our son, Jaxton, was working that day, and we were able to take a quick picture with him, adding a personal touch to our visit. We highly recommend Chapin Chop House for a great dining experience..“
“This place was nice and the staff was very attentive. The glat bread was delicious, love the sauce. I got the ribs and they were cold in the near the bones the waiter took them back and i got new ones but everone was already finished eating. Thats how i know the flatbread sauce was good.“
“The view can't be beat, but the food and menu could be. The food has improved in recent months, and the service is generally excellent. They have replaced the outdoor tables and some outdoor seats. They appear to be making efforts to improve food quality, including a steak actually cooked to order on our last visit (a rare event in the past). The food is still somewhat inconsistent, with half done potatoes, wildly varying versions of certain dishes from one visit to the next, and soupy salad (when dressing was requested on the side --two different visits). We appreciate the excellent service and efforts to enhance food quality, but they still can level up the kitchen. Go for the view--on a day when you're feeling lucky and flexible on your meal.“
“It’s been a while since we’ve come across delicious, large, well done, multiple sauce option, affordable wings. This place is absolutely worth a visit.Tots, deep fried pickles and wings are a cant miss. It’s a big positive for us, maybe not for others but - this place should be classified as a dive bar. Reminds me of my old Wisconsin haunts. But it’s loud, friendly, affordable, and wonderful.Enjoy!“
“I met two beautiful women very nice talkative shot couple games of pool I just moved here from Bama and they made me feel at home "Mary Jane? -cookie" I think your an amazing gorgeous lady ? My bro and I had a blast ty so much I will definitely be back.“
“A friendly, eclectic, and interesting clientele, ranging from ex-athletes; business owners; alluring femme fatales; showbiz folks; rich guys; and down-to-earth, pretty pool playing gals. There's a surprisingly wide libation selection for an establishment that has probably the best prices in the Columbia, SC area. I enjoy the wine and occasionally a Guinness! The bar "maids" provide a "room with a view" and always look out for regulars and new patrons alike. Restrooms are clean, the area safe, close parking is plentiful, five sports tv screens, free wifi, and the jukebox is just right. Sometimes there's comedy or live music or a dj. Try it... you'll like it!“
“This restaurant is amazing. I'm a South Carolina native who just moved from Charleston to Irmo, and this is hands down the best shrimp and grits I've ever had at a restaurant! The grits are creamy and delicious, the andouille was just the right kind of spicy, and the shrimp were plump and perfectly cooked. My wife got the seafood platter, and she loved her dinner as well. Her fried fish was nice and crunchy, the way it ought to be.I do wish they had an up-to-date menu on their Facebook page, but otherwise it's a great seafood restaurant. Highly recommended!“
