“Last night for the first time in my adult life, I sat alone at the restaurant bar at The Bistro. It was cold, wet and rainy outside and I almost stayed home. I ordered Brussels sprouts for dinner and unsweetened tea. I shopped online while I listened to the amazing artist singing live music. From Stapleton to Prince. He even threw in a little Justin Beiber Christmas music. After the show the singer sat with his mama and had dinner. Those last 45 minutes of the night are so precious to me. I am so glad I did not stay home. Thank you to Katie at The Bistro in Irmo. She was a lovely hostess! Thanks to Trey Duncan Sings for a wonderful show and the time I got to spend with him after. “Passing through town and had to check this place out especially for the new pinball machine “Jaws”. The BLT I had with their in house made bread was fantastic along with a wonderful beer selection. They also have many craft can beers for purchase, wish I had taken the time to check them out. Looking forward to sporting my t-shirt I purchased.“

Tonight we had the shishito peppers, Chinese pork belly, snapper and the braised lamb pappardelle followed by the olive oil cake with sweet cream eggplant ice cream. We both agreed it was one of our top meals over the past several years at Terra and cannot wait until our next date! Quality, consistency and service are always top notch, and the one time we tried another restaurant for our date night we totally regretted it and went right back to Terra for our next meetup. “Food was exceptionally good. My husband and I enjoyed our wine and the meal. Our server was very gracious and attentive. Our problem came when the bill arrived and a 18% gratuity was automatically charged. We pay tips in cash to our servers so they get them right away instead of being held for a week or two as so many places do. I requested to speak with MOD but she never came. We waited 15 minutes and upon leaving saw her out back smoking. Customers always came first for every restaurant, bar or business I worked for and with the quality of service the owner set up, that was what I expected. Very disappointing experience. BTW we tip 25-30% normally not 18, so don't put it on a check for 2 people. We had hoped to get the message to the owner for his consideration in this matter. Hopefully he reads reviews and this changes or my husband won't return.“

“Traveled all the way from Charlotte NC to Colombia SC to watch the trombonist Hank Biail and saxophonist Phil Denny performance at Chayz Lounge. First time being there. The owner (Chayz Alexander) greeted everyone at the entrance and was very welcoming. The atmosphere was superbly magnificent. The wait staff was on point and food was extremely delicious 😋. Overall, my experience was fantastic and would come back again.“

Me and my 3 little girls(7,9, &10yr) came in on a Sunday(1hr before closing btw)and she didn't hesitate to greet us with a Warm smile! ❣I was teaching them how to be ladies that day 😅and she was Soooo kind and patient with them. It was four cut up pieces and looked like it was deep fried and for to long..did not enjoy it at all have gotten it there before and enjoyed it. “You may want to consider moving the sign for your drive-thru hours to the entrance of the drive-thru instead of by the window. I sat in the drive-thru for several minutes before pulling through and seeing the sign AFTER where you place your order.“

“This review is specifically for the newer Redbank location. We had a late night concert Monday night at the White Knoll High School PAC center and decided afterwards to go to this location. We weren't aware that they closed at 9pm until after we were leaving. Most of our party arrived at 8:15pm but we had some stragglers that arrived at 8:40pm. The entire staff was soooooooo incredible and accommodating, everyone helping each other get drinks, refills, bread and food out soooooooo quickly. Not one time did we ever feel "rushed" or "hovered" over to "hurry up." Instead they just let us enjoy our dining experience! The food was fantastic, even at the end of the shift, it was still all so fresh and delicious! I think we wrapped up our bills at 9:30pm. We all thanked the servers and all the management staff for allowing us to stay and enjoy our meal and we humbly apologized to them honestly not knowing the time they closed. The manager reassured us it was no problem at all and asked us if we enjoyed everything, food, service and all. We enthusiastically replied YES! I just wanted to specifically shout out to the store and staff how wonderful our dining experience was. I'm sorry for posting a few days afterwards, but please know your team was phenomenal and it didn't go unnoticed. Ty so very much again!“

“We visited this restaurant chain in the past when in Columbia, liked the food options, & tried it again. It did not disappoint, it was the perfect stop fir a Sunday meal with the family. The server was very friendly & handled all her clients well & with efficiency! The price for the meals can't be beat, costing less than $ 15 each person for each meal with a drink & it was good! Everyone enjoyed their meals from the Turkey w/cornbread dressing/cabbage, yams/Salmon patty, mashed potatoes, collards/ to the Fried Chicken, mac & cheese, & apples. All came out quick, was nice & hot & filling. The dessert was good & reasonable too! Was not disappointed at all, will be back next time I'm in town!!!“

“Chef Tom catered a Christmas dinner for our boat club this past weekend. A lot of great menu choices. I went with the bourbon marinated steak tips, twice baked potatoes & the grilled veggies. Many compliments on the potatoes, the tenderness of the meat & the taste & display of the vegetables. Drop off went smoothly. They never miss on amazing food and great customer service. I've been to possibly all of their restaurants and I've never ever been disappointed. They've never even messed up an order or missed an item and I go quite often. Whenever people ask me for food recommendations, I always refer them here. Yes, there are fancier restaurants but they're not going to match the obvious passion and dedication from the cooks working here or their commitment to consistent southern hospitality.
