“Last night for the first time in my adult life, I sat alone at the restaurant bar at The Bistro. It was cold, wet and rainy outside and I almost stayed home. I ordered Brussels sprouts for dinner and unsweetened tea. I shopped online while I listened to the amazing artist singing live music. From Stapleton to Prince. He even threw in a little Justin Beiber Christmas music. After the show the singer sat with his mama and had dinner. Those last 45 minutes of the night are so precious to me. I am so glad I did not stay home. Thank you to Katie at The Bistro in Irmo. She was a lovely hostess! Thanks to Trey Duncan Sings for a wonderful show and the time I got to spend with him after. “Passing through town and had to check this place out especially for the new pinball machine “Jaws”. The BLT I had with their in house made bread was fantastic along with a wonderful beer selection. They also have many craft can beers for purchase, wish I had taken the time to check them out. Looking forward to sporting my t-shirt I purchased.“

“A friend and I have regular dinner dates at Terra and we always have a great time! Tonight we had the shishito peppers, Chinese pork belly, snapper and the braised lamb pappardelle followed by the olive oil cake with sweet cream eggplant ice cream. We both agreed it was one of our top meals over the past several years at Terra and cannot wait until our next date! Quality, consistency and service are always top notch, and the one time we tried another restaurant for our date night we totally regretted it and went right back to Terra for our next meetup. “Food was exceptionally good. My husband and I enjoyed our wine and the meal. Our server was very gracious and attentive. Our problem came when the bill arrived and a 18% gratuity was automatically charged. We pay tips in cash to our servers so they get them right away instead of being held for a week or two as so many places do. I requested to speak with MOD but she never came. We waited 15 minutes and upon leaving saw her out back smoking. Customers always came first for every restaurant, bar or business I worked for and with the quality of service the owner set up, that was what I expected. Very disappointing experience. BTW we tip 25-30% normally not 18, so don't put it on a check for 2 people. We had hoped to get the message to the owner for his consideration in this matter. Hopefully he reads reviews and this changes or my husband won't return.“

“I eat their weekly. Grew up eating Lizards Thicket. Started out at the one that used to be by the airport. I’ve eaten at all of them. They are all good. Love the breakfast. Love the specials. “Its a small, quaint little artsy type of Cafe with interesting art hanging on the walls and pretty funny/cute signs near the coffee area. I got the breakfast burrito and really enjoyed it. Its not over priced on most of the items on the menu and could easily be a nice get together type of place.“

It was four cut up pieces and looked like it was deep fried and for to long..did not enjoy it at all have gotten it there before and enjoyed it. Got a piece of raspberry lemon cheesecake..more cake than cheese will try different choices next time“

“Had the best dinner ribs dry rub were absolutely delicious. 8 oz Sirlion done correctly and tender. Server was this young lady Jade C. She was spot on. Prompt friendly, knowledgeable of the menu . My friend and I were two needy customers wanting extra sides and to go orders. Lots of extras for just two people. She went out of her way to accommodate everything we needed and asked for. “This review is specifically for the newer Redbank location. We had a late night concert Monday night at the White Knoll High School PAC center and decided afterwards to go to this location. We weren't aware that they closed at 9pm until after we were leaving. Most of our party arrived at 8:15pm but we had some stragglers that arrived at 8:40pm. The entire staff was soooooooo incredible and accommodating, everyone helping each other get drinks, refills, bread and food out soooooooo quickly. Not one time did we ever feel "rushed" or "hovered" over to "hurry up." Instead they just let us enjoy our dining experience! The food was fantastic, even at the end of the shift, it was still all so fresh and delicious! I think we wrapped up our bills at 9:30pm. We all thanked the servers and all the management staff for allowing us to stay and enjoy our meal and we humbly apologized to them honestly not knowing the time they closed. The manager reassured us it was no problem at all and asked us if we enjoyed everything, food, service and all. We enthusiastically replied YES! I just wanted to specifically shout out to the store and staff how wonderful our dining experience was. I'm sorry for posting a few days afterwards, but please know your team was phenomenal and it didn't go unnoticed. Ty so very much again!“

“The food was very tasty. The dressing was really good, the green beans were delicious, oh...the mac and cheese was very good..everything that my family and I had was perfect. Kiddos to the cook!!! Keep him around as long as you guys can! They have a variety of good choices on their menu. My family and I drove over 2 hours away, from Georgia, and we were happy that we stopped here. Best place in town!“

“We had a new waitress, I think she did an excellent job.
The food was just ok. We got the all you can eat ribs/chicken/shrimp. The first plate was a good portion but the refills are very small and its hard for them to keep up, bigger portions would help alleviate this process. I feel bad for the servers. Management should step up and do better.
The atmosphere was good. It was quiet enough to talk but also had background music to fill quiet moments. Mclain was our waitress and I think she did outstanding for what she was dealing with.“

“Chef Tom catered a Christmas dinner for our boat club this past weekend. A lot of great menu choices. I went with the bourbon marinated steak tips, twice baked potatoes & the grilled veggies. Many compliments on the potatoes, the tenderness of the meat & the taste & display of the vegetables. Drop off went smoothly. Jen was very helpful in setting up the dishes & answering all my questions. Would highly recommend!!“

“This was our first time visiting and celebrating two of our friends birthdays. Everyone had a fantastic time, food was excellent and jazz was great. However we did appreciate the owner explaining the longer way for our food, even though we where the first into the establishment. I think our problem happened when waitress said to us that once she served another table their water, then she would be right back to take our orders, but it never happened cause she continued to take orders from the back versus returning to us. So by the time we decided to order the two birthdays girls wanted the steak and eggs, but steak was no longer available to order, so that was disappointing since we were there early enough to have gotten that order in on time if the waitress was more efficient. Then when we paid our bill my niece wanted to make sure that the waitresses did capture the tip, she asked her prior if she did include the the tip when paying and the waitress replied that wasn't a concern for her, that was an inappropriate answer to say back to a guest and paying customer. However, overall we enjoyed ourselves and definitely will return again.“

The management and food were on par I say this with full conviction that is the best movie Tuesdays ever ate at. Because of Connecticut has a passion for building a relaxing environment and it is evident with the culture he's built with the employees. Watch out Ruby Tuesday's because that manager is a gem and he needs to be promoted at the first available opportunity. As a person that recruits people for a living I can definitely tell you that there's something special about this location and manager that manages this location. Salmon was cooked to perfection beautiful crust , nice consistency with the glaze and perfectly cooked in the middle.“

Asked for grape jelly with our biscuits and he had four in the basket. We were just traveling through Columbia SC but if you are in the area go to the Cracker Barrel on Bush River Rd and ask for Russell…you will not be disappointed!!“
