“Last night for the first time in my adult life, I sat alone at the restaurant bar at The Bistro. It was cold, wet and rainy outside and I almost stayed home. I ordered Brussels sprouts for dinner and unsweetened tea. I shopped online while I listened to the amazing artist singing live music. From Stapleton to Prince. He even threw in a little Justin Beiber Christmas music. After the show the singer sat with his mama and had dinner. Those last 45 minutes of the night are so precious to me. I am so glad I did not stay home. Thank you to Katie at The Bistro in Irmo. She was a lovely hostess! Thanks to Trey Duncan Sings for a wonderful show and the time I got to spend with him after. “Passing through town and had to check this place out especially for the new pinball machine “Jaws”. The BLT I had with their in house made bread was fantastic along with a wonderful beer selection. They also have many craft can beers for purchase, wish I had taken the time to check them out. Looking forward to sporting my t-shirt I purchased.“

“A friend and I have regular dinner dates at Terra and we always have a great time! Tonight we had the shishito peppers, Chinese pork belly, snapper and the braised lamb pappardelle followed by the olive oil cake with sweet cream eggplant ice cream. We both agreed it was one of our top meals over the past several years at Terra and cannot wait until our next date! Quality, consistency and service are always top notch, and the one time we tried another restaurant for our date night we totally regretted it and went right back to Terra for our next meetup. “Food was exceptionally good. My husband and I enjoyed our wine and the meal. Our server was very gracious and attentive. Our problem came when the bill arrived and a 18% gratuity was automatically charged. We pay tips in cash to our servers so they get them right away instead of being held for a week or two as so many places do. I requested to speak with MOD but she never came. We waited 15 minutes and upon leaving saw her out back smoking. Customers always came first for every restaurant, bar or business I worked for and with the quality of service the owner set up, that was what I expected. Very disappointing experience. BTW we tip 25-30% normally not 18, so don't put it on a check for 2 people. We had hoped to get the message to the owner for his consideration in this matter. Hopefully he reads reviews and this changes or my husband won't return.“

“Traveled all the way from Charlotte NC to Colombia SC to watch the trombonist Hank Biail and saxophonist Phil Denny performance at Chayz Lounge. First time being there. The owner (Chayz Alexander) greeted everyone at the entrance and was very welcoming. The atmosphere was superbly magnificent. The wait staff was on point and food was extremely delicious 😋. Overall, my experience was fantastic and would come back again.“

“We had a wonderful family dinner at Old Mill Brewpub while visiting from Florida. Sitting out on the porch offered a scenic, peaceful view of the water that set the tone for a relaxing night out.
To start, we ordered the bacon collard dip served with fresh pig skins and tortilla chips. While my daughter and I were not crazy about it, my husband completely devoured the entire bowl.
The main dishes hit the mark across the table. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich with fries and really enjoyed it. Our daughter got the chicken fingers with fries, which were crispy and delicious. I had the wings tossed in mango habanero sauce, which had the perfect balance of sweet heat, paired with tasty onion rings.
We washed everything down with cold beers from the tap, enjoying both an IPA and a blonde ale. It was a great stop with good food, cool ambiance, and lovely views that made for a memorable family evening while traveling. We definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area.“

“Chef Tom catered a Christmas dinner for our boat club this past weekend. A lot of great menu choices. I went with the bourbon marinated steak tips, twice baked potatoes & the grilled veggies. Many compliments on the potatoes, the tenderness of the meat & the taste & display of the vegetables. Drop off went smoothly. “Lizard Thicket on Garners Ferry Rd. has the worst customer service I have never had in a drive thru. I have never had a window shut in my face when requesting extra butter, then when I get the butter it is thrown in my hand. Forest Drive is my restaurant but they are being remodeled 😭... Great people Great service Great Management... I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO GARNERS FERRY... I felt very much racially profiled for no reason. I wasn't raised like that... I love and respect everyone regardless of race. My money is the same color as everyone else and it spends.“

“This is by far one of the best run Applebees restaurants that I have attended in my life. Chris is the nicest and most attentive manager of a store that I have ever seen. He not only makes sure everything is running smoothly, but he provides customers the ultimate customer service. Having him to manage this restaurant gives me the utmost confidence that each year helping to run this store it will get better and better. I love seeing people love what they do and he truly loves what he does. I order the same thing most nights from the menu which is the pasta and it has never failed me once. They are also so nice about customization of my order as well which most places struggle to do.“

“This review is specifically for the newer Redbank location. We had a late night concert Monday night at the White Knoll High School PAC center and decided afterwards to go to this location. We weren't aware that they closed at 9pm until after we were leaving. Most of our party arrived at 8:15pm but we had some stragglers that arrived at 8:40pm. The entire staff was soooooooo incredible and accommodating, everyone helping each other get drinks, refills, bread and food out soooooooo quickly. Not one time did we ever feel "rushed" or "hovered" over to "hurry up." Instead they just let us enjoy our dining experience! The food was fantastic, even at the end of the shift, it was still all so fresh and delicious! I think we wrapped up our bills at 9:30pm. We all thanked the servers and all the management staff for allowing us to stay and enjoy our meal and we humbly apologized to them honestly not knowing the time they closed. The manager reassured us it was no problem at all and asked us if we enjoyed everything, food, service and all. We enthusiastically replied YES! I just wanted to specifically shout out to the store and staff how wonderful our dining experience was. I'm sorry for posting a few days afterwards, but please know your team was phenomenal and it didn't go unnoticed. Ty so very much again!“

“Had the best dinner ribs dry rub were absolutely delicious. 8 oz Sirlion done correctly and tender. Server was this young lady Jade C. She was spot on. Prompt friendly, knowledgeable of the menu . My friend and I were two needy customers wanting extra sides and to go orders. Lots of extras for just two people. She went out of her way to accommodate everything we needed and asked for.
