“This was my first time here and our server was fantastic. They explained everything answered all of our questions and was polite and friendly. There were many options on the menu to handle gluten free & dye free needs and many vegetarian options as well as a nice variety for pescatarians. You sure don't leave hungry!“

“I already left a review on Google a few months bk. but we come here like every other Sunday. This is our favorite place to eat. All servers stay on top of everything. We had Shuman today ( Hope it's spelled correctly).He was the Best and Most efficient. Plenty of Napkins, Checked on us 5 to 6 times. all while working like 6 tables. Always had plates ready to go for the Buffet. Pleasant Attitude...“

Crab Rangoons: 10/10 finally found a place where they make Rangoons the right way!
Egg rolls: 8/10 they are actually the best tasting egg rolls around, only thing is they are also the smallest egg rolls around!
Egg drop soup: it was egg drop soup.
(For the entrees, it says that it comes with white OR egg fried rice, they did not ask us and we did not specify which kind, and we received white rice. Which was a bummer, if you do not say fried rice, you won’t get it. So make sure you say it!)
General tap and sesame chicken: sauce is okay, but chicken is dry rubbery, and just overall not good. 3/10.
SUPRISINGLY the best items were the appetizers. The chicken entrees were NOT good at ALL.

LONG WAIT 1/10: They must make everything to order or cook in batches because we waited inside with other customers for damn near an hour before getting our food. We weren’t in a rush so it wasn’t a big deal, but this can easily ruin the entire experience for someone wanting to get home/ deliver orders etc.

$1.5 an egg roll (tasty but the size of your thumb)

$14 Chicken entrees ( good portion, but white rice unless you state fried rice, and the chicken quality sucks)
Overall: 7/10
if you want want the real Rangoons, they are here. Granted it’s $1 per Rangoon (prices are insane literally everywhere so a/e). Also, the people working there are polite to their customers.“

“Hite’s Bar-B-Que is a true Columbia staple and one of those classic spots that’s been around for a reason. It’s not trying to be fancy or trendy. It’s just straightforward, no frills BBQ that hits the spot when you want something familiar and satisfying.
The food is solid, the portions are good, and it’s the kind of place you can count on for a dependable meal. It feels like a local institution and it’s the type of restaurant that adds character to a city.
I’m giving it five stars because it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and it does it consistently. If you want a classic Columbia BBQ experience, Hite’s is absolutely worth a visit.“

“This is a small, quiet family bar/grille spot just off the lake. I had the tri-tip fajitas, and they were EXCELLENT. Not only the fajitas themselves; the beans on the side were delicious whether eaten solo or with the fajita, and the pico de gallo was extremely fresh and on-point. Prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommended!“

“Took my Hubby here for his Birthday , because he wanted Spicy Mango Haberno for his Friday Supper BD. We already had Prime Rib and did the Burger thing earlier in the week. He said these were better than Ale House which was his fave, and hotter. He also did Garlic Parmesean. I got the Carolina Dip,and Onion Rings. Can I say Buffalo Portions at Hummingbird Prices, we were shocked at how inexpensive it was. I loved the Sports Bar Atmosphere. We will definitely be bk. Thanks for Being a Awesome Eating Establishment with" Big Behind" Portions, because we had leftovers.“

I do my best to make sure I give credit where it’s due. A business will get a horrible review 9/10 times if they have a bad experience but a good review is almost nonexistent. I’m here to say our meal was cooked to perfection. I do not know anyone at this location nor am I associated with anyone. Our meal was absolutely amazing and I think more people should do this. We picked this up and were blown away at how well our steaks and salmon were cooked.“
