“Hite’s Bar-B-Que is a true Columbia staple and one of those classic spots that’s been around for a reason. It’s not trying to be fancy or trendy. It’s just straightforward, no frills BBQ that hits the spot when you want something familiar and satisfying.
The food is solid, the portions are good, and it’s the kind of place you can count on for a dependable meal. It feels like a local institution and it’s the type of restaurant that adds character to a city.
I’m giving it five stars because it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and it does it consistently. If you want a classic Columbia BBQ experience, Hite’s is absolutely worth a visit.“

“Had the best meal here today! Get the strawb12therry shortcake-it was amazing. We tried the ribs,pulled pork,brisket, greens, Mac n cheese, and cornbread. I personally liked the dark, thick red sauce (Ga Folks it's good!) but they give you three sauces to go with the bbq. Warning- the greens are kinda on the sweet side- they're different. They're not nasty but not your regular greens. Awesome jewel in Columbia!“

“This was my first time here and our server was fantastic. They explained everything answered all of our questions and was polite and friendly. There were many options on the menu to handle gluten free & dye free needs and many vegetarian options as well as a nice variety for pescatarians. You sure don't leave hungry!“

“I had my first lunch with the restaurant in Columbia today and it was a GREAT experience! Definitely the very bbq in the area! “I had the smoked pigs feet and 1/4 smoked chicken leg and in every bite you can taste the smoky flavor. Had homemade Mac and cheese, white rice ( which had flavor to it) and omg the best fresh and I mean fresh cut collards ( I could eat a big bowl of them collards) . I wish they would bring back the smoked turkey wings, I’ve seen photos of the smoked turkey wings but was told they don’t do them anymore, this place is going to be my go to place at least once a week. Need to open on in the saint Andrews area“

“Can’t rave about Cox enough. Not only is their food delicious, they truly go above and beyond. We ordered our Thanksgiving turkey from there. We woke up Thanksgiving morning and were all feeling sick. Not wanting to waste the turkey, we called and asked if there was any chance we could pay them to deliver the turkey after the shop closes. Not only did they happily offer to deliver the turkey, they didn’t just drop it at the door, they insisted on bringing it in and set it up on our kitchen counter. We offered to pay them whatever they wanted for the holiday delivery and they absolutely refused. They said it was part of their job to make sure we enjoyed thanksgiving. While the food was so tasty, we are literally without words on their service. We will be customers for life and you should be too.“

“We got half scallion chicken, whole duck, beef noodle soup, eggplant.
All of it was delicious and juicy!
They do give you a heads up, with the duck and whole/chicken it doesn't come out hot but they were amazing.
The beef and noodle soup was a rich delicious soup. Relative to the other dishes the beef and noodle and the eggplant had a nice kick in the back of the throat but nothing crazy at all.
The staff is very nice, the service was good/fast. It's def a gem if you're looking for a good Chinese meal and haven't tried it yet!“

“Incredible restaurant. The owner/chef is incredibly funny and clearly loves the business he is in, and it is definitely reflected in the quality of the food and atmosphere of the restaurant. The service was immaculate and very prompt. Everyone we interacted with was amazing.
I would recommend this place for anyone interested in more traditional Korean fare than one might be used to, and of course anyone that already knows they love Korean food.“

“Great prices on combo meals. Love the Big double burger made the cheddar way. Onion rings are good. Service is good and ever6is nice and courteous. Restaurant is clean and bathroom was clean. Plenty to choose from, burgers, chicken sandwiches, quesadilla and hot dog, corn dog's so much more all at reasonable prices and everything is made to order. Food comes out quickly and hot. Plenty of parking in rear of building. Lots of outdoor table's and seats and benches.“

“My food has always been good, but what I can't stand is the experience picking up a to-go order because they routinely allow people to just park in the only 3 To-Go spots which makes it difficult. Unoccupied cars should be towed when there for extended periods, clearly not there for a pick up.“
