“Hite’s Bar-B-Que is a true Columbia staple and one of those classic spots that’s been around for a reason. It’s not trying to be fancy or trendy. It’s just straightforward, no frills BBQ that hits the spot when you want something familiar and satisfying.
The food is solid, the portions are good, and it’s the kind of place you can count on for a dependable meal. It feels like a local institution and it’s the type of restaurant that adds character to a city.
I’m giving it five stars because it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and it does it consistently. If you want a classic Columbia BBQ experience, Hite’s is absolutely worth a visit.“

“Had the best meal here today! Get the strawb12therry shortcake-it was amazing. We tried the ribs,pulled pork,brisket, greens, Mac n cheese, and cornbread. I personally liked the dark, thick red sauce (Ga Folks it's good!) but they give you three sauces to go with the bbq. Warning- the greens are kinda on the sweet side- they're different. They're not nasty but not your regular greens. Awesome jewel in Columbia!“

“This was my first time here and our server was fantastic. They explained everything answered all of our questions and was polite and friendly. There were many options on the menu to handle gluten free & dye free needs and many vegetarian options as well as a nice variety for pescatarians. You sure don't leave hungry!“

“The best dang BBQ I've ever had in my life.
Best BBQ sandwich I've ever had, best barbecue hot sauce (7 sec) , best bun, best baked beans, best green beans, Baked Mac & cheese: my whole life I thought -what a waste of perfectly good macaroni- THIS is the Mac & cheese granny tried to make. Pulled pork was the definition of smoked, moist bbq. Blown away. It's that good.“

“I had my first lunch with the restaurant in Columbia today and it was a GREAT experience! Definitely the very bbq in the area! We had Shuman today ( Hope it's spelled correctly).He was the Best and Most efficient. Plenty of Napkins, Checked on us 5 to 6 times. all while working like 6 tables. “Can’t rave about Cox enough. Not only is their food delicious, they truly go above and beyond. We ordered our Thanksgiving turkey from there. We woke up Thanksgiving morning and were all feeling sick. Not wanting to waste the turkey, we called and asked if there was any chance we could pay them to deliver the turkey after the shop closes. Not only did they happily offer to deliver the turkey, they didn’t just drop it at the door, they insisted on bringing it in and set it up on our kitchen counter. We offered to pay them whatever they wanted for the holiday delivery and they absolutely refused. They said it was part of their job to make sure we enjoyed thanksgiving. While the food was so tasty, we are literally without words on their service. We will be customers for life and you should be too.“

“This place is a hidden gem. Food is very authentic; the taste is definitely similar to what you can find in china - chow ho fun got that wok hei flavor to it. Portion is huge with reasonable price. Just a little bit oily for me but that's normal for chinese food. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommended!“

“I had the smoked pigs feet and 1/4 smoked chicken leg and in every bite you can taste the smoky flavor. Had homemade Mac and cheese, white rice ( which had flavor to it) and omg the best fresh and I mean fresh cut collards ( I could eat a big bowl of them collards) . I wish they would bring back the smoked turkey wings, I’ve seen photos of the smoked turkey wings but was told they don’t do them anymore, this place is going to be my go to place at least once a week. Need to open on in the saint Andrews area“

“Absolutely fantastic experience at Good Taste! The food was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The shrimp fried rice was delicious, the chicken with broccoli was perfectly cooked, and the wings were crispy and tasty. The portions were generous, and everything was ready quickly. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent. Great quality food at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be coming back again!

“Incredible restaurant. The owner/chef is incredibly funny and clearly loves the business he is in, and it is definitely reflected in the quality of the food and atmosphere of the restaurant. The service was immaculate and very prompt. Everyone we interacted with was amazing.
I would recommend this place for anyone interested in more traditional Korean fare than one might be used to, and of course anyone that already knows they love Korean food.“

“Used to get once or twice a month as a take out order. Last two orders but especially the latests the steaks were way over cooked. But becasue we are doing a pick up and dont see it tell home which is 25 min away we didnt notice it tell opened containers. Once is bad twice is not going back
I was given some gift cards by the company and got the same order again. It was great just like I epected it to be all those years before the two bad orders in a row. I will be going back they make a good steak and the potato is great“

“This is a solid enough Cook Out. They’re usually very busy, and they do a pretty good job of getting you through a long line relatively quickly. I love their Reese’s Cup milkshakes, but one thing I’ve noticed about this location is that they either don’t cook their chicken nuggets and fries long enough, or they leave them out for too long, as I’ve gotten cold food multiple times I’ve come here. When I go to Cook Out, I’m not expecting world-class cuisine, but I would like for it to at least be hot coming out of the bag.
Nevertheless, I still like this Cook Out, as it’s convenient, and the food isn’t awful for the price you’re paying for it.“

“Went to LongHorn this weekend (8/1) and I have to give it a 9/10! We went a little after 12 for lunch, and the experience was great from start to finish. Parking was easy (and free), and we were seated immediately.
Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. We had the Parmesan-crusted fries, chicken wings, steak, mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, and a cheeseburger—and every item tasted great.
The only downside was that we found a hair in the Parmesan fries. Our waiter apologized and gave us the option to have the fries removed from the bill or replaced. Since we ate a good bit of it, we chose to have them removed . But later on we realized we should have asked for a replacement lol ( they were honestly that good). I appreciated that they handled the situation professionally.
Even the bread, which I normally don’t care for, was surprisingly good! Despite the issue with the fries, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back.“
