I wish I had taken a picture of my oxtail plate, but my food was so flavorful and delicious. I can’t wait to try something else on the menu.

The 1/2 pit special rib dinner comes with hash, rice, two sides, and a roll, and you can substitute mac n cheese for the hash and rice. The ribs are tender with good flavor, served with homemade bbq sauce, though some may find the portion smaller than expected. The sides, like mac n cheese, collards, and potato salad, are tasty, and the prices are unbeatable for a bbq spot. Peach cobbler, however, is a letdown. Despite the lack of signage, the restaurant's unique service style, where food is served through a window, adds to the charm. It’s great for lunch, but they are only open from 12-4. There might be a short wait since orders are placed outside, and updates come from the window. Perfect for a quick, flavorful meal when you don’t feel like firing up the grill.
