One picture of CJ's "plates" on Facebook and was sold on at least trying this local chef's smoked meats. For two of us, for two good meals is what I was looking for with my sample order. I ordered just meat plates, no sides. Burnt ends (IYKYK), brisket, a rib eye steak, and salmon. Total for those was $62. CJ is the best home cooked country food in town. No need to add seasonings. Pricing matches the cost of food and an average dinner if you go out to eat. Good service, good food and good price.

The food is DELICIOUS!! If I could give 10 stars I would. If you love country cooking, soul food this is your place!! Make your own plates to go buffet style. All kinds of greens, vegetables, baked mac & cheese, turkey wings gravy, fried chicken, ham, various meats beef stew, steak gravy, pork chops. Michael has been a chef for decades his food is wonderful. He believes in lots of fresh cooked vegetables which is hard to find these days.
