“As someone who is a vegetarian with Celiacs, I was disappointed with the appetizers/entre selection. I finally settled on a salad, because they did not have gluten free pasta, no gluten free crackers (like Crunch Master) for the cheese plate, no gluten free bread, and for some reason they wanted to put lamb on a caprese salad (marked vegetarian on the menu)??? I asked for a larger portion of the caprese (vegetable/greens/etc.), minus the lamb, and got a small salad the size of my first for $18. Luckily, the desert selection was far better, being I was starving and had ordered a bottle of wine for the table. I actually had several good gluten free choices for deserts. My husband and friend (who knows the owner) enjoyed their appetizer and main course selections. My husband's pasta dish potion was ample. Our service was excellent. In fact, the first bottle of wine had a bad cork, and Drew got us another bottle. We ended up taking another bottle home (as a gift for our friend) and tipped him well, because he was so conscientious. With Italian restaurants like Travinia's near, which cater very well to people with allergies (they have a separate allergy prep area), we hope this establishment will choose to do likewise in the future so "everyone" can enjoy their meals and not worry about someone not getting enough to eat. It is actually nerve wracking for me to have others trying to advocate for me, because they are worried I can't enjoy my food like they are in these situations. In all, Drew's efforts gave the review an extra star. He did what he could to make the situation better, but I don't think those preparing my salad paid attention to his notes. My friend who knew the owner was a bit embarrassed for suggesting this restaurant in the end because of the rigidity of the menu and lack of catering to gluten allergies. We plan to try the Dragon Room (same owner) next together and hope the meal goes better for all who are dining.Vegetarian options: Frustrated that a salad selection marked vegetarian some how ended up including lamb??? Then when I stipulated without lamb but with more of the greens, I didn't get much to eat for $18.Dietary restrictions: If you have Celiacs and are a vegetarian, you have a few desert selections but almost nothing else to eat on the menu because they don't have gluten free pasta, nor gluten free bread, nor gluten free crackers.”

“We stopped here while in town for a concert. Great atmosphere, food is great as is the beer. Employees were all engaging and pleasant to talk with. Story behind the building and business is awesome. Defiantly going back next time passing through!”

“So far it's been great. Ordered their fried whiting (9/10)with fries(7/10) and the seasoning on the whiting was pretty good. I do feel they should include more fries with the order, however for the price it was a steal. The fish comes with your standard run of the mill roll (5/10). their macaron (8/10)i is pretty good as well. Ordered through DoorDash”

“We came here for 3 nights with Tennis a team. We may have gotten a little loud at times having drinks before the bar opened but they handled it very well. the staff was very helpful in advising us good places to go eat luch/dinner etc. The Bartenders were Rockstars!! The manager even allowed us some discretion with our checkout time because of some weather delays with our tennis tournament. Great place to stay and a very reasonable rate!”

“Stopped there around 9:30pm after flying in to the Columbia Airport. Although the kitchen was already closed, Jacob was so nice to make us some delicious food. Jacob and the bartender Julia went out of their way to make me and my friend comfortable and welcome! We really appreciated the wonderful service and hospitality! Such a great place to go! I hope to visit there again when I am in town.”

“I was in South Carolina for little more than 12 hours and was eager to eat some southern BBQ. The BBQ pit at the Columbia Airport was my only real option. Fortunately I was not disappointed! The BBQ and the fried chicken were both very good. The collered greens were also tasty. The roll was a bit of a disappointment. All in all pretty good airport food.”

“I had such a delightful visit at Tropical Smoothie Cafe this morning, both the young ladies womaning the front were so delightful; especially Brice (sp?) who was such a fun character to interact with, and I wasn't the only one who thought so. Ignore the open sign, it's probably haunted. Come on, management! Replace that sign for a better sign so these brave young women don't risk life and limb fighting the demon(s) expressing their demonic intents over the neon.”
