Denny’s Restaurant in Lexington offers a mix of experiences highlighted by friendly service and decent food. Many customers appreciate the quick and helpful staff, with some mentioning the hostess and waitstaff making them feel welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere is described as lovely and enjoyable, contributing to a positive dining experience. The restaurant is especially praised for its outstanding customer service, with staff going above and beyond, even helping with condiments and drinks.
The food quality varies; some find the meals good, but not outstanding, with a few noting that breakfast can be slow, especially during off-peak hours. One reviewer enjoyed their breakfast on a Friday, highlighting the great vibe of the staff. However, recent changes in pricing have caused disappointment for some customers, who now face additional charges for drinks, pies, and whipped cream, leading to higher bills than expected. A few mention that the salt shaker was even used to serve salt into a small cup for takeout, showing the staff’s helpfulness.
Overall, Denny’s in Lexington is appreciated for its good food, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere, making it a reliable place for a casual meal, despite some concerns about recent pricing changes.
