Restaurantji presents West Columbia's standout Mexican dining destinations.
“I went here last night for the first time. The food was amazing and the service was great. The hot dogs are unique and amazing! I had the Mexicano Dog (I think that's right) and it was delicious. The Pastor street tacos were wonderful as well. Cheese dip and salsa with Avocado were both amazing... with fresh chips. It's a 20-25 minute drive for me to get there and I'm already planning my next trip. It might be lunch today!“
“Been meaning to try this place out for quite some time and finally got the chance. Just wish I’d tried it sooner - this place is great!! Friendly and attentive waitstaff. Started with the salsa bar, which was nice. Lots of choices on the menu. Food came quickly and was delicious! This place is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area for Mexican food. Highly recommend!!“
“Service and atmosphere really don't apply here. This is a business that started as a food truck, so you come here for the food. Pupusas are made to order. Mine took a while, but in their defense, they had just opened. Also, they were worth the wait. I had 3, which was a good amount of food and it was only $12, including Horchata (also delicious). They have lots of protein choices. For the more adventurous, they have beef head (I'm assuming mostly cheek), beef tongue, and tripe. They also have a nice selection of baked goods and some donuts that looked good.“
“I’ve literally went there 3 times in a week after discovering this place. It is so delicious! I’m glad I was able to find some good Honduran/mexican food. They also have my all time favorite strawberry milk called “fresisula” definitely give it a try. I like the selection of Spanish candy they have at the counter. The ladies who work there are very attentive and welcoming.“
“Chipotle, eat your heart out. This place is delicious. House made salsa, tomatillo, and hot sauce, really really tasty. I had the Burrito Express Steak Burrito, PLENTY of food. Very friendly people. I will absolutely stop back in when I'm in this area.“
“Fantastic authentic Latin American food serving up all of the staple dishes such as pupusas, tacos, quesadillas, etc. They had horchata and agua Fresca (pineapple and watermelon) for drinks which were fresh and delicious. Overall this is a great place to stop in Columbia if you are looking for some authentic and tasty Latin American dishes!“
“Outstanding food and service nice place to eat and relax the cooks and waitress outstanding I will definitely tell my family and friends to eat in this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They have menus for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant have ramp to go inside the main room.“
“I normally wouldn’t take time to do this. But the manager at this store (I assume she’s the manager) goes above and beyond. The two interactions I’ve had have been exceptional. So much so that we have chosen to give our business to this store over our usual Moe's run.“
“My wife and I went there to eat today, 3/12/24 for the THIRD time and we think it's the best Mexican food in SC! Everything, as they say in SC is "TEW DAH FER!" (Translation: To Die For!) But seriously, not gonna bore you here, we drive from Irmo just to go eat here and we must pass at least 10-20 other Mexican places. You gotta try this place at least once! You'll be back!!“
“Just FINALLY stopped after years of saying I would....I'm a little upset that I waited years to try this food ! Very good and the portion sizes are huge ! ? the half chicken was juicy and marinated well and the tacos are awesome. Hot sauce is very good as well. Will definitely be “
“Food is your basic order by number menu you get at most table service, chain Mexican restaurants. This is the only San Jose we will eat at and we don't eat here very often anymore. They no longer carry Dos Equis Amber draft anymore. Last couple of times the service was extremely slow. Food mediocre and obviously the food is not authentic.“
“Los Paisanos is a gem of a Mexican restaurant – the tacos are flavorful, the salsa has a kick, and the atmosphere is lively. It's my go-to spot for a casual and delicious Mexican meal with friends or family. The friendly staff and affordable prices make it a top choice for satisfying my cravings for authentic Mexican cuisine.“
“Very clean and quiet establishment and yet the food wasn't as great as I thought it would be. My chimi was hard and crunchy like it was old and not freshly made..I was disappointed at best! Drink was ok lacked ice things ordered lacked presentation as well as cheese lol.“
“My favorite go to spot!!!! I love how they use real fruits in their cold drinks my favorite is the peach Pina with my Cheetos chipotle corn on a stick! Service is awesome, they will deliver your order to your car. Very clean establishment with great friendly service!!!.“
