“My family and I visited this restaurant on our travels through the area, and we are so happy we did! The food was absolutely delicious!! We tried the chicken quesadilla, barbacoa torta, beef soup, and a variety of tacos. Everything was amazing. My son loved the soup so much that he drank every drop of the broth. Absolutely recommend this restaurant.“

“We ate at the restaurant in North, SC. The service was excellent and the food we ordered was tasty. We really enjoyed the hospitable staff and our waitress. (very accommodating) The salsa bar, bean queso and chips are amazing. We will definitely be back!“

“I've tried almost every San Jose around Columbia and this is my go-to everytime.

I've been coming here for close to 10 years. Despite it being 2 blocks from my house, I was reluctant to try it out at first, because of judging it by its appearance. The parking lot is hard to navigate and the building is smaller than other locations.

I definitely regret not coming here sooner. They always have speedy service and staff are very friendly. The owner likes to make rounds checking on diners and is just a cool guy. The portions are large and fairly priced. And I've found the sweet tea, queso and chips taste way better than other San Jose's. You may have to wait a while for a table at peak hours but even during a rush, the food comes out super quick.

“Tried this place out the other day and was very pleased. I got 4 tacos all different meats (Chorizo, Beef, Pollo, and Pastor.) and they were all really good and super flavorful. The portion sizes are really good and the meat is pretty high quality stuff. I can't really give it a high rating in terms of atmosphere as it is just a food truck, and my service was alright. All in all probably my favorite taco truck I've had in the Midlands so far.“

“We have searched for an authentic Mexican restaurant for several years. Agave Azul does not disappoint. Excellent customer service and delicious food. We are now regular customers and my 8 year old says he wants to see his "family". Keep up amazing work y'all do for every customer. FIVE stars for sure!!! 🫶🏼“

“I came to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We had an amazing time, the food was amazing. Ordered an appetizer, it was delicious, shrimp empanadas. Superb taste. Also, ordered the mariscos molcajete, omg!! The octopus and sauce on top was just so tasty. Service was a little slow, as place was packed for Motger Day’s celebration. They had live Mexican music, love it!! they even sang a birthday song for my sister. The waiter, Erica, brought a birthday cinnamon complementary cake as a gift for my sister, she was very attentive. And yes, servers spoke English and Spanish. I recommend this place for any celebration . Love it!!“

“I came on Saturday April 25 2026 the young lady I believe her name was Ally she fixed my bowl and helped me the whole time. She was really nice to me and my family. She waited patiently when my kids could not decide which quesadilla they wanted to order. She made my food really well my steak burrito was the best burrito i have EVER had from any Moes . Ally has been the nicest person to ever help me. She has been nicer then chick fil a employees. Ever sense i walked in that door Saturday afternoon at 6:15 pm she had a smile on her face she made me and my family feel so welcomed. WE LOVED EATING HERE! 10/10 will be eating here again.
