The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the service was friendly from the start. I tried the chicken nachos, and they quickly became my favorite. Perfectly seasoned, generously portioned, and loaded with all the right toppings—crispy chips, tender chicken, melted cheese, and just the right kick of spice. You can tell they put care into their food. If you're in the area and looking for a local spot with great Mexican food, this place is worth the stop. I’ll definitely be back!“

“My friend recommended Masa to me roughly 2 years ago and I’ve been going ever since. The drinks and food are amazing especially El Paraiso and their adobada bowl. The atmosphere is great for going with friends or a date night. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and Erik is a great bartender that can literally make any drink you want.“

“We stopped by Tex-Mex and had a pretty good experience (especially since they were one of the few places walking distance from the hotel to choose from at 12am). The staff was friendly and patient, answering our questions and helping us decide when we weren't sure what to order.

We tried the Chipotle Hot Dog and the Asada Espesyal. The food came out quickly, the flavors were decent, and everything seemed fresh. There are a few tables next door by Uncle Fester's where you can sit and enjoy your meal, which was convenient.

Overall, the food was good, the service was nice, and I'd consider eating there again.“

“Omg the sweetest ladies helped us today. We drove up from Charleston as we read the reviews. This is the 2nd place we have been that reminded my husband of his military days in Juarez he absolutely loved the menudo. 2nd time I seen tears rolling down his face from the love of the food. This is a hidden gem with beautiful people and wonderfully perfectly seasoned food. Will make this a regular trip for sure.“

“Wow — the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, and I’m a local. This place is hands down better than every Mexican restaurant in Columbia, SC. The food is phenomenal, and even that’s an understatement. You literally have to try it for yourself.

I was halfway through my meal and already wanted to come back for more. Everyone was also so nice and patient with me during my first visit.

The birria sauce is amazing, and the chicken quesadillas were perfectly cooked. I also got a dish with shrimp, chicken, steak, grilled onions, cheese on top, and pineapple underneath. When I say it was amazing, I mean beyond amazing — I couldn’t believe how good it was.

“My name is Cleveland Ivory. I've been eating at this taco truck ever since they first got established. I love the food, they give you A good amount of meat no matter what kind of entree your ordering. Awesome customer service and this is the best authentic Mexican food that I have ever eaten. When I was in the military I used to love eating Mexican food when I was in California and this is even better than some of the street food that I have eaten when I was in California. I recommend their food to anyone in the surrounding area as well as for those who may have to drive 30 minutes or an hour to get there. Trust me, it is worth the drive and the food is awesome.“
