“I've heard about this place from several people and decided to try it out. It did not disappoint! There was a birthday party going on while we were there so a lady was walking around making balloon animals which of course was awesome. The chips they bring to thetable were unlike anything I ever had. I emptied the baskets in with my to go box. If you havent been, go. Very delishous.“

“The authentic tacos were served with a side bowl of cilantro,finely chopped onions and 3 big pieces of lime. I had the marinated pork the tacos were full of small pieces of pork and covered with foil. It came with a side of beans , which were not just the smushed watery beans you get most places. They were very flavorful. We definitely will be going back to try more dishes .“

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the service was friendly from the start. I tried the chicken nachos, and they quickly became my favorite. Perfectly seasoned, generously portioned, and loaded with all the right toppings—crispy chips, tender chicken, melted cheese, and just the right kick of spice. “If you don't get the fries that are $14 you are losing. Food better than 99% of sit in Mexican places and it's in a gas station. Only rated service 3 stars because they missed my sandwich on the call in and had to wait for them to make it. It took half the time getting a burger at hardees in swansea so can't complain I changed to 5 stars after further contemplation. Place is always busy so figured we would try it tonight. We'll definitely be back for fries and a cubano. Wife had a steak and a shrimp street taco and said both were great but shrimp with guacamole and cilantro were the winner. A+ 5 🌟“

“After passing by here numerous times. I decided to try it. I had gotten the tour of Mexico and my son got the steak and shrimp... bring an appetite. Its a ton of food for the money, and the first time in awhile I have needed a to go box. The waitress was such a delight and friendly. Will come back again“

“This is the second time we have tried Senor Bird's Tacos & Tequila Bar and were not disappointed. Service is always great. Food is amazing, portion sizes are perfect, and price is right. The only thing left for us to try is a Margarita, and it's definitely on the menu for next time. The atmosphere is fun and there is plenty of seating. If you haven't been yet you should definitely check it out. I'm sure it will be one you will add to your rotation.“

“We were regular San Jose customers, and while they are good, they were closed. We decided to try Chapala's again. A couple years back, we had gone and weren't too pleased. We were very glad we gave them another chance. Not sure what has changed, but the food was outstanding! The most tender chicken in the entrees and the guac was extra good! We are now regular customers. So, if you haven't been in a while, do yourself a favor and revisit!!“
