“Love the white queso. Have never had a quesadilla served looking like a giant soft Taco & I've had 'Mexican' food from Mexico to Canada, Atlantic to Pacific. Had to cut it to bite sized triangles myself but it was good. Not spicy at all. Would have liked a bit more cheese on the quesadillas.

“The food was ok, service wasn't very good. We order queso dip with jalapeños in it. we got queso dip and a small bowl of jalapeños on the side. We told her we wanted them diced up in it. I got a different plate than what I ordered. They don't come back to check for refills or anything.“

“This is the BEST Mexican spot inside a gas station ..made fresh as you wait..Taco salad, Shrimp Fajitas, Shrimp Tacos, will not disappoint. The Mexican food in our area is usually very disappointing..not here..prices are well below eat in restaurants.. this will be my go to for future culinary delights.“

“We had El Jimador cater for a military promotion. The service, food, and preparation were great! They went above and beyond to set it up. We had a taco bar set up with all the toppings, rice, beans, chips, and salsa. It was a major hit with our guests! Most even took seconds. We highly recommend them for events!“

I’ve been to the irmo location since it’s down the street from where I live and have had issues with food quality, service. I’ll gladly drive 20 mins out of the way for better food without an attitude.“

“We were regular San Jose customers, and while they are good, they were closed. We decided to try Chapala's again. A couple years back, we had gone and weren't too pleased. We were very glad we gave them another chance. Not sure what has changed, but the food was outstanding! The most tender chicken in the entrees and the guac was extra good! We are now regular customers. So, if you haven't been in a while, do yourself a favor and revisit!!“

“Visited this location for a drive thru order on 08/21. Overall the experience was positive, there was no line in the drive thru, the employee was courteous and the wait for the food was not terrible. The order was correct, the only complaint is that they forgot the sauce. It’s disappointing when the employee specifically asks if you’d like any sauce, and it’s written on the ticket on the side of the bag, but then no sauce is provided. Other than that the experience was positive.“
