“My wife, son, and I ate on the (outdoor) enclosed back deck. It was nice and quiet and had overhead heaters. Our server (Jamie Lynn) was polite, informative, and attentive to the table. We started off with pretzels and the beer cheese. Pretzels were very hot as was the cheese. Cheese had a nice taste to it and creamy. For dinner I had the Fish and chips , and the steak fries were done right. Fluffy in the inside and slight crisp on the outside. The beer battered fish was very tasty. You get a good portion for the price. My wife and son both had the Reuben sandwich. They too were very satisfied with the taste and portions. Price was also very reasonable. I’d definitely go back again.”

Our problem came when the bill arrived and a 18% gratuity was automatically charged. We pay tips in cash to our servers so they get them right away instead of being held for a week or two as so many places do. I requested to speak with MOD but she never came. We waited 15 minutes and upon leaving saw her out back smoking. Customers always came first for every restaurant, bar or business I worked for and with the quality of service the owner set up, that was what I expected. Very disappointing experience. BTW we tip 25-30% normally not 18, so don't put it on a check for 2 people. We had hoped to get the message to the owner for his consideration in this matter. Hopefully he reads reviews and this changes or my husband won't return.”

“The pork ribs appetizer was divine. The green curry was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The pad Thai was very good as well. Service was really great. The inside was more upscale than I thought it would be. The servers are wearing ties. We went for lunch and everything was priced right. It was a pleasant surprise to see a good choice of wines by the glass. The hot tea comes out in a nice pot. We traveled an hour to go there and it was well worth the trek. Please open a Bodhi II in Aiken!! Please. 😀”

“This is a small, quiet family bar/grille spot just off the lake. I had the tri-tip fajitas, and they were EXCELLENT. Not only the fajitas themselves; the beans on the side were delicious whether eaten solo or with the fajita, and the pico de gallo was extremely fresh and on-point. Prices were also very reasonable. “My son and I went in after walking the old mill today. I’ve been meaning to stop in and today was the day. From the moment we walked in to this tucked away coffee shop it was everything I love about living in a small town. Warm welcome, such an inviting atmosphere, local items to shop from and let’s not forget the delicious coffee smells. We were greeted by the nicest man who was happy to go over everything and gave recommendations as well as a loyalty card. Love that! Our coffee was delicious- I got a pistachio/white chocolate iced coffee and my son went with an iced Samoa. Absolutely delicious coffee. Top notch customer service and super clean and cozy. 10/10.”

“I’ve been here twice now and the service has been wonderful! The last time we went they let us try some samples. My children usually get the cotton candy crunch and blue raz plain. But we all loved the sample they gave us- the cookie dough special flavor with a special drizzle on top. (I hate I forgot the name) but I hope they keep it! Golf idea probably wasn't enough to sustain a retail business. I think we have a winner with La Fogata. They did a nice job of remodeling the interior. We ate at the bar, as usual. Ultra friendly staff. Iced cold Dos Equis with thick chips and salsa started our meal. We split a single Steak Fajitas. Wonderful combination of flavors served piping hot and very quickly. Great stop, will be back.”

“This review is specifically for the newer Redbank location. We had a late night concert Monday night at the White Knoll High School PAC center and decided afterwards to go to this location. We weren't aware that they closed at 9pm until after we were leaving. Most of our party arrived at 8:15pm but we had some stragglers that arrived at 8:40pm. The entire staff was soooooooo incredible and accommodating, everyone helping each other get drinks, refills, bread and food out soooooooo quickly. Not one time did we ever feel "rushed" or "hovered" over to "hurry up." Instead they just let us enjoy our dining experience! The food was fantastic, even at the end of the shift, it was still all so fresh and delicious! I think we wrapped up our bills at 9:30pm. We all thanked the servers and all the management staff for allowing us to stay and enjoy our meal and we humbly apologized to them honestly not knowing the time they closed. The manager reassured us it was no problem at all and asked us if we enjoyed everything, food, service and all. We enthusiastically replied YES! I just wanted to specifically shout out to the store and staff how wonderful our dining experience was. They also have a great selection of draft beers, so there’s plenty to choose from whether you’re grabbing a meal or just stopping in for a drink. Our service was excellent as well; friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

Its a nice chain spot as there are many around. its very convenient being in the gas station to where you can go shop for your few items that you need and grab a bite to eat. Not to mention the location is excellent, outside of many neighborhoods and around many businesses.”

“We were regular San Jose customers, and while they are good, they were closed. We decided to try Chapala's again. A couple years back, we had gone and weren't too pleased. We were very glad we gave them another chance. Not sure what has changed, but the food was outstanding! The most tender chicken in the entrees and the guac was extra good! We are now regular customers. So, if you haven't been in a while, do yourself a favor and revisit!!”

“Dos Amigos food is SO GOOD! I went by to pickup a couple doordash orders within the last week and it smelled delicious so my family and I came by to place an order ourselves! Staff are friendly and the store is super clean! The banda playing in the store sets a nice ambiance Our order consisted of a torta, quesadilla, and the new quesa birria tacos… it was all cooked perfectly. The birria is by far one of the best things I’ve had to eat since I moved here to spring! Tried the chicken quesadilla my grandpa ordered and it wasn’t my favorite but what matters is that my grandparents both loved it! I will definitely be coming back with my family for more meals here in the near future.”

“We have been regularly coming here for years, always consistently good food. Today I had my usual nacho basket, for some reason the jalapeños are now dumped on top of the chips, I suppose for presentation. problem is that the juice makes the chips soggy. this might seem petty but there's nothing worse than soggy chips. also the cheese sauce was brown and clumpy, like it was old. this was my first bad meal. please go back to the peppers in a cup and a nice fresh creamy cheese sauce. thanks!”

The warm welcome was on point, nice and in sync so much that it felt like the entire restaurant was greeting us. Lol. You definitely can’t help but smile. I was late • sandwich was cold • HAPPY ENDING 😃 I woke up on 7.28.2022 and decided that it was the day for my Caramel Macchiato & Crispy Grilled Cheese on Sourdough from StarBucks. This is not something that I indulge in everyday. This decision was made because I deeply needed a reward-pamper-myself-day. I placed my order using the Starbucks app and rec’d my quick confirmation. Yay!! (Luv this app!) Traffic en route caused me to arrive later than expected. When I finally got to the drive-thru window - after the normal stream of faithful Starbucks patrons at this location - my coffee and sandwich were inevitably cold. 😞 I told the courteous employee at the window about my predicament. She talked with another employee who said “I’ll be glad to remake the sandwich for you.” The amazing staff at this special Starbucks ~ #61508-294567 Platt Springs Rd & S Lake Dr - remade the Caramel Macchiato and Crispy Grilled Cheese sandwich for me. I was told to park at the side entrance so that the drive-thru line could continue moving efficiently. My coffee and sandwich were cheerfully brought out to my car. I sat there in that parking lot completely amazed!!! 🥰 🙏🏾 First, I thanked GOD for the delectable goodness that I was about to enjoy and then 🙏🏾 I prayed for those Starbucks employees….and then 🙏🏾 I gave thanks for the excellent way that they handled my issue. After all - I was indeed late. Yet they extended grace and kindness to me. I am writing this because I failed to get their names (wish that I had). I hope that in some way one of them will read this review and pass it on. Their kindnesses were so appreciated on my reward-pamper-myself day. They had no idea how much those few moments of positivity affected me.😃 Their customer service gestures made my meal even more enjoyable. “Fun stop for a special treat! These shakes were delicious, and very large - and these were the pint sizes! The tropical float was also very tasty! Definitely not something for everyday (maybe not even every week) but an excellent once-in-while family outing. Worth the drive from Aiken.”
