“My wife, son, and I ate on the (outdoor) enclosed back deck. It was nice and quiet and had overhead heaters. Our server (Jamie Lynn) was polite, informative, and attentive to the table. We started off with pretzels and the beer cheese. Pretzels were very hot as was the cheese. Cheese had a nice taste to it and creamy. For dinner I had the Fish and chips , and the steak fries were done right. Fluffy in the inside and slight crisp on the outside. The beer battered fish was very tasty. You get a good portion for the price. My wife and son both had the Reuben sandwich. They too were very satisfied with the taste and portions. Price was also very reasonable. I’d definitely go back again.”

Our problem came when the bill arrived and a 18% gratuity was automatically charged. We pay tips in cash to our servers so they get them right away instead of being held for a week or two as so many places do. I requested to speak with MOD but she never came. We waited 15 minutes and upon leaving saw her out back smoking. Customers always came first for every restaurant, bar or business I worked for and with the quality of service the owner set up, that was what I expected. Very disappointing experience. BTW we tip 25-30% normally not 18, so don't put it on a check for 2 people. We had hoped to get the message to the owner for his consideration in this matter. Hopefully he reads reviews and this changes or my husband won't return.”

“The pork ribs appetizer was divine. The green curry was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The pad Thai was very good as well. Service was really great. The inside was more upscale than I thought it would be. The servers are wearing ties. We went for lunch and everything was priced right. It was a pleasant surprise to see a good choice of wines by the glass. The hot tea comes out in a nice pot. We traveled an hour to go there and it was well worth the trek. Please open a Bodhi II in Aiken!! Please. 😀”

From the moment we walked in to this tucked away coffee shop it was everything I love about living in a small town. Warm welcome, such an inviting atmosphere, local items to shop from and let’s not forget the delicious coffee smells. We were greeted by the nicest man who was happy to go over everything and gave recommendations as well as a loyalty card. Love that! Our coffee was delicious- I got a pistachio/white chocolate iced coffee and my son went with an iced Samoa. Absolutely delicious coffee. Top notch customer service and super clean and cozy. 10/10.”

Golf idea probably wasn't enough to sustain a retail business. I think we have a winner with La Fogata. They did a nice job of remodeling the interior. We ate at the bar, as usual. Ultra friendly staff. Iced cold Dos Equis with thick chips and salsa started our meal. We split a single Steak Fajitas. Wonderful combination of flavors served piping hot and very quickly. Great stop, will be back.”

“This review is specifically for the newer Redbank location. We had a late night concert Monday night at the White Knoll High School PAC center and decided afterwards to go to this location. We weren't aware that they closed at 9pm until after we were leaving. Most of our party arrived at 8:15pm but we had some stragglers that arrived at 8:40pm. The entire staff was soooooooo incredible and accommodating, everyone helping each other get drinks, refills, bread and food out soooooooo quickly. Not one time did we ever feel "rushed" or "hovered" over to "hurry up." Instead they just let us enjoy our dining experience! The food was fantastic, even at the end of the shift, it was still all so fresh and delicious! I think we wrapped up our bills at 9:30pm. We all thanked the servers and all the management staff for allowing us to stay and enjoy our meal and we humbly apologized to them honestly not knowing the time they closed. The manager reassured us it was no problem at all and asked us if we enjoyed everything, food, service and all. We enthusiastically replied YES! I just wanted to specifically shout out to the store and staff how wonderful our dining experience was. Ordered from this place yesterday and not only is there not an employee who speaks English, and I mean zero English, I ordered from the the Hibachi Grill, and was not impressed at all. Not only is there only a small section on the back of the menu that is hibachi, the mostly serve Chinese food. And I mean to tell you the rice was mushy barely any vegetables. The beef and chicken were tasteless... they had no seasonings. And may I add ,Very hard to chew. Maybe they were just having an off day but I thought I would warn you all”

“I placed a To-Go order for a 8’ Veggie Pizza yesterday. Instead, I got an 8’ Olive Pizza. I reside in Richland County and I wasn’t able to return the pizza, so I end up throwing away the pizza and lost $10.00 in the process. The Veggie is normally good but yesterday was a total disappointment. This wasn’t my first visit. I always order a Veggie Pizza without a million and one olives.”

“We walked up here for dinner, as they're less than a mile away from home. We sat ourselves and the server came up to take our drink order. My wife got their Philly Cheesesteak with floppy chips. Generous portion of beef on a toasted roll. The beer cheese gives it a unique taste. I had the Big XL Burger. Pimento cheese, bacon, onions, etc. make for a good burger. I paid the extra $2 for fries. Very Fisk-like. All you need is some malt vinegar. The place started getting busy for 6:30 Wednesday Trivia Night. Very cool interior. Amazing what they did with the old feed / carpet store.”

“We have been regularly coming here for years, always consistently good food. Today I had my usual nacho basket, for some reason the jalapeños are now dumped on top of the chips, I suppose for presentation. problem is that the juice makes the chips soggy. this might seem petty but there's nothing worse than soggy chips. also the cheese sauce was brown and clumpy, like it was old. this was my first bad meal. please go back to the peppers in a cup and a nice fresh creamy cheese sauce. thanks!”

“We were regular San Jose customers, and while they are good, they were closed. We decided to try Chapala's again. A couple years back, we had gone and weren't too pleased. We were very glad we gave them another chance. Not sure what has changed, but the food was outstanding! The most tender chicken in the entrees and the guac was extra good! I was late • sandwich was cold • HAPPY ENDING 😃 I woke up on 7.28.2022 and decided that it was the day for my Caramel Macchiato & Crispy Grilled Cheese on Sourdough from StarBucks. This is not something that I indulge in everyday. This decision was made because I deeply needed a reward-pamper-myself-day. I placed my order using the Starbucks app and rec’d my quick confirmation. Yay!! (Luv this app!) Traffic en route caused me to arrive later than expected. When I finally got to the drive-thru window - after the normal stream of faithful Starbucks patrons at this location - my coffee and sandwich were inevitably cold. 😞 I told the courteous employee at the window about my predicament. She talked with another employee who said “I’ll be glad to remake the sandwich for you.” The amazing staff at this special Starbucks ~ #61508-294567 Platt Springs Rd & S Lake Dr - remade the Caramel Macchiato and Crispy Grilled Cheese sandwich for me. I was told to park at the side entrance so that the drive-thru line could continue moving efficiently. My coffee and sandwich were cheerfully brought out to my car. I sat there in that parking lot completely amazed!!! 🥰 🙏🏾 First, I thanked GOD for the delectable goodness that I was about to enjoy and then 🙏🏾 I prayed for those Starbucks employees….and then 🙏🏾 I gave thanks for the excellent way that they handled my issue. After all - I was indeed late. Yet they extended grace and kindness to me. I am writing this because I failed to get their names (wish that I had). I hope that in some way one of them will read this review and pass it on. Their kindnesses were so appreciated on my reward-pamper-myself day. They had no idea how much those few moments of positivity affected me.😃 Their customer service gestures made my meal even more enjoyable. “Fun stop for a special treat! These shakes were delicious, and very large - and these were the pint sizes! The tropical float was also very tasty! Definitely not something for everyday (maybe not even every week) but an excellent once-in-while family outing. Worth the drive from Aiken.”

“I love this food chain and I've been to several different locations, every single one has been clean and quiet with friendly service. They always have fresh food and I love that they cut the meat right in front of you at most locations. The spices and flavor they add to you sandwiches is a perfect blend. I usually get my sandwich smothered with them till it's messy but that's just my preference, the sloppier the better lol. They are the best place to get a sub sandwich. Subway has nothing on them and that's for sure.”
