“This is a small, quiet family bar/grille spot just off the lake. I had the tri-tip fajitas, and they were EXCELLENT. Not only the fajitas themselves; the beans on the side were delicious whether eaten solo or with the fajita, and the pico de gallo was extremely fresh and on-point. Prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommended!“

“You will not find a better atmosphere in Lexington than Wings and Ale. Service is top shelf. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. Even the staff seem to be having a great time every time we visit! Highly recommend visiting for live music on Friday and Saturday nights.“

“The food was great, but service was a little slow. When you’re serving more than 1 person in a party, the food should come at the same time (unless it’s a HUGE party, of course). Nonetheless, It was just two of us and our meals were served 15 minutes apart. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and I was a little disappointed.“

“I had an outstanding experience thanks to Jack, our waiter at Applebee’s. From the moment we were seated, he was incredibly friendly, energetic, and attentive. His knowledge of the menu was impressive—he offered great recommendations and answered every question with confidence and enthusiasm.
Jack consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His kindness and genuine care for guests truly set him apart. It’s rare to find someone who brings this level of professionalism and positivity to their work.
Employees like Jack are the reason customers keep coming back. He absolutely deserves recognition, and I sincerely believe he’s earned a raise or promotion. Applebee’s is lucky to have him!“

“11 of us came to town for an LSU game. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like regulars. I cannot say enough about the staff. Meagan, Brianna, and Jayson were amazing. We visited several times during our stay. If we ever come back to town, we will make Calloway’s a must. And, the food was amazing! Don’t miss the wings!!“

“We had an in-house catering for our Softball Christmas party. Leigh handle everything amazingly for us and made everything go smooth. She stayed in contact and made sure we had a wonderful time. Food and service was wonderful“

“Always has good food. Atmosphere is awesome especially when a band is playing. Sports are always on the TV. Pool tables to play. I don’t care for the smoking outside on the patio too much but I respect that it is a pub but you can’t smell any smoke inside which is great. A+. Plus the cooks are attentive to your orders which is rare these days!!!“

“My friend came into town and I was on my way taking her back to the airport. We needed a quick place to grab a bite because her flight was delayed. I decided to get the burger. Wow! Totally amazing. At this location their burgers are fresh, never frozen! You can definitely tell the difference. I'm not a big fan of Applebee's I won't lie. But that burger deserves ALL five stars!!!!!“

“If your are looking for a nice laid back spot that is different from the norm yes this is it. Yet the food is amazing, best philly and wings I can think of. I’m a country boy and they even have hotdogs one they the best in town.“
“This place is what my wife has affectionately refered to as a "church of bars". Everybody here is friendly. The owners, the barkeepers, and the customers are all great. There is almost never any trouble. Since everybody knows everybody and everyone are friends, if you start trouble, you start trouble with the entire place. They have live music often. My favorite is Shrek's open mic night on fridays where everybody is more than welcome to play and even one of the bartenders gets into it and drums along either on his djembe or an upturned bucket. I have never once had a bad time here. The prices are among the lowest in the area and the people mame it an awesome spot to hang out.“

“Update: I returned to this location to give another shot. It was busy but we were seated fast. We had a great waitress food was amazing. Also Great to see the GM in there working and making sure everything was running smoothly.
Tried to come eat February 7 for my daughter’s birthday. We were seated pretty fast. Got to our table we never seen a waitress we waited 20 minutes. We did not even get to order. We got up and left. Will not be back to this location. Do not recommend.“

“What a fun time! The instruction is very helpful, the girls at the front desk are super personable and always there to help out. The atmosphere is great and they have all different sizes and styles of axes which is helpful. If you are in downtown Lexington and want to have a great hour of fun - try Craft Axe, you won't be disappointed.“
