“11 of us came to town for an LSU game. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like regulars. I cannot say enough about the staff. Meagan, Brianna, and Jayson were amazing. We visited several times during our stay. If we ever come back to town, we will make Calloway’s a must. And, the food was amazing! Don’t miss the wings!!“

“Touchdowns is a fun enough bar. It’s definitely a lot more corporate than the other bars in Five Points, and is lacking in a distinctive personality. With that being said, it is a fun place to stop by and grab a drink, and you can actually taste the liquor in their cocktails, which you can’t say for every bar in the area.

I will also say that their bartender (I’m unsure of his name) does a great job and is always very nice and friendly. A lot of times bartenders come off as very arrogant and seem like they hate their lives, but I love how interactive he is and how he always seems to be having a great time.

All-in-all, I would describe Touchdowns as an average bar with a great bartender!“

“I ordered 2 Calzones and mozzarella sticks for take out and the person on the phone taking my order was very friendly and easy to talk to! Once I got home I popped them in the oven for a little bit to heat them up and it was fantastic. And the tomato sauce was very good as well. I spent less than $30 for everything before tip. 😋“

“Sam had us proper feeling like we were at a resort. Drinks were super cold and food was hot. She kept things moving and was one of the best servers we have ever had. She was able to keep my kids comfortable while also keeping the adults fed. Will be back and hopefully we get Sam.“

“My husband has been smoking meats for 20 years.. he has NEVER complimented any establishment like Peebles! The brisket and ribs (we got the Jamaican Jerk) were to die for! The beer selection is awesome. It may be called a 5 star Dive Bar because all you want to do is DIVE INTO THE FOOD! The wing selection IS CRAZY! You can order flats only (my fav!) and multiple flavors like the meat! The bartenders Shannon and Danny were AWESOME! We also had a new server, Josh who was so efficient, polite and fun! “We pulled into town after a long day of driving. This place was close to our hotel and it was perfect. We sat at the bar and the bartender greeted us immediately. We shared wings and the grilled shrimp salad. Both were really good!!! The place was lively and had the football games on. I would definitely come back if in the area!“

“Always has good food. Atmosphere is awesome especially when a band is playing. Sports are always on the TV. Pool tables to play. I don’t care for the smoking outside on the patio too much but I respect that it is a pub but you can’t smell any smoke inside which is great. A+. “This place is what my wife has affectionately refered to as a "church of bars". Everybody here is friendly. The owners, the barkeepers, and the customers are all great. There is almost never any trouble. Since everybody knows everybody and everyone are friends, if you start trouble, you start trouble with the entire place. They have live music often. My favorite is Shrek's open mic night on fridays where everybody is more than welcome to play and even one of the bartenders gets into it and drums along either on his djembe or an upturned bucket. I have never once had a bad time here. The prices are among the lowest in the area and the people mame it an awesome spot to hang out.“

“We hadn’t had Applebee’s in YEARS but had a craving. It’s always been a nostalgic place for us. We ordered two burgers, wings and a dessert through UberEats and the food was SO good; as good as we remembered. Our order was accurate, fresh and tasty. It was also packaged nicely too and the restaurant included silverware. Which seems like a small thing but some places forget. Whatever this Applebee’s is doing, keep it up!“
