“First let me just say I am extremely picky when it comes to food so much so that I rarely try new places because I worry I will spend the money and not like it. So today I wanted a good burger and fries and decided to give this place a try since its close to my daughter's house. Jennifer was extremely friendly when I was telling her what I wanted and how I wanted it and did not seem annoyed by my request and her and the owner even chit chatted with me while Jacob (the cook that was there) was making my food. It was quick, made correctly and tasted awesome. The only issue I had was the fries were slightly crisper than I like but they were still awesome. I will definitely be back and now have a new favorite burger spot for when I am at my daughter's house. I will definitely recommend to others who ask if I know of a good burger spot. Thank you guys for being patient with me.“

“This place was awesome, loved the beer and food- that steak box was 🔥 . The staff were SO accommodating, bar staff, waitress, and managers. We came in w a large group w lots of kids and no notice- and they went above and beyond to make the perfect space for us and a way to see our game. The waitresses were quick and helpful. The FOOD… whatever pastry is at the bar get it! It will not disappoint! Steak box was a pizza a box full of fries and steak smothered in sauce and magic.. 😮‍💨 Go savage for a great time.“

Did get spanakopita and Greek salad each were good, but wanted the other Greek goodies on the menu Oh well Vey disappointed in the Greek salad with little feta and no onions yet loads of lettuce. Never again thanks but no thanks“

“Shout out to the BEST SERVER IN COLUMBIA -REBECCA!!! Me and my 3 little girls(7,9, &10yr) came in on a Sunday(1hr before closing btw)and she didn't hesitate to greet us with a Warm smile! ❣I was teaching them how to be ladies that day 😅and she was Soooo kind and patient with them. They each ordered for themselves and she even went along with the whole learning experience🥹. She engaged with them with convo , tended to each of there needs and the food came out in a timely manner. It was hot and tasty. She wasn't trying to push us out the door 😅 she was consistently polite. If you are reading this Rebecca, we are Truly Thankful we had you as our server. “We love the food and service at this restaurant. The portions, flavors and service is amazing.“

“Front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful when checking us in yesterday afternoon. They were sure to explain everything included in our stay, as well as general information. Our room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. It is apparent this is either a new location or newly renovated, because everything was very nice. We were impressed to hear there was a restaurant and bar off of the lobby area too. The toiletries provided were nice as well. The only negatives were that the doors to the rooms are very heavy and EXTREMELY loud when they close, so we heard lots of doors slamming during the night which woke us up a few times. The bathroom doors in the rooms also do not stay open on their own, they close on their own and slam as well, and the toilet flush is very loud as well, so hearing that at night woke us as well. This could easily be remidied with a kickstand on the bathroom doors to hold it open if desired. The shower was very nice and spacious, with sliding glass doors. The location is very convenient, right off of a main highway in Columbia. Overall besides the noise we liked this stay and location and would be back if we ever were traveling in the area again!“

“I've tried almost every San Jose around Columbia and this is my go-to everytime.

I've been coming here for close to 10 years. Despite it being 2 blocks from my house, I was reluctant to try it out at first, because of judging it by its appearance. The parking lot is hard to navigate and the building is smaller than other locations.

I definitely regret not coming here sooner. They always have speedy service and staff are very friendly. The owner likes to make rounds checking on diners and is just a cool guy. The portions are large and fairly priced. And I've found the sweet tea, queso and chips taste way better than other San Jose's. You may have to wait a while for a table at peak hours but even during a rush, the food comes out super quick.

“Freddy's double cheeseburger, tater tots, drink and hot fudge sundae came to $18.62. Repeat customer. My burger was a slight bit salty, but otherwise it was awesome. *Update* June 28 2026 I ordered a steak burger bowl and hot fudge sundae to go. No bacon in the bowl at all, and sauce was missing. Sundae was good but a little high filled so by the time I took it to go and opened the top it burped vanilla down the sides like a volcano. See photos.“
