“I had 14 guests for lunch at Christmas time, at the Willcox. Bruce was our server and we all can’t say enough good comments about him. He is a keeper. In my 80 years he is the BEST SERVER I have ever had. Our group just laughed and loved him. Jade was super efficient in caring out my wishes for seating. I cant say enough good about Bruce or Jade. Thanks Wilcox staff for making the food delicious and the occasion so perfect. The last time I ate at the Willcox I was served a hamburger with a molded rolls. “First time at Good Girl Brewing today for lunch. We will be back! Millie was our server. She was excellent! Very friendly and really knowledgeable about all of their beer selections, offering samples and making recommendations based on our preferences. Impressive! On my wife's recommendation, we started out with the fried cheese curds and the baked pretzel, both of which were delicious. The curds were crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside and served with a tasty marinara. Portion size was plenty for 4 adults....and they were addictive. The pretzel was soft, salty, buttery and warm and served with a delicious cheese sauce. FYI, the cheese curds were delicious dipped in the cheese sauce too! 3 of the 4 of us got smashburgers with pimento cheese and the housemade chips. Delicious!! I opted for the fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese, all the fixings, and chips. Tender crispy breast meat and the pimento cheese was so good! All of the buns were buttery brioche and were soft and delicious! Worth it just for the food and service...but the beer was good too! I had a Turtle Dog IPA and others had the brown ale and a stout. My wife had a flight of 4 beers and the flight pours and sample pours were generous. Plenty of room inside with a long bar with seating and lots of 4 tops, but also lots of seating outside - some in the shade and most with umbrellas - lots of room for kids to run around. Apparently having a band tonight outside and would be a great venue for it! Lots of parking! All 4 of us agreed that we will be back! The SPCA was there today outside with a couple of dogs that were ready for adoption. They are there every other Saturday so go pet some pups after you eat and better yet, adopt one! Shelter dogs are the best dogs!!“

I really enjoyed myself at Dukes Bar-B-Que Aiken from the very comfort, spacious seating, the exceptional customer service from the staff, and the southern barbecue atmosphere there at Dukes. Dukes has plenty of hot and scrumptious buffet food selections to chose from at a terrific price, and I will definitely be back to dine. The juicy, mouthwatering fried pork chops was ooh-wee and for dessert the self, soft -serve ice cream really hit the spot to concluded this lunch. I will recommend Dukes Bar-B-Que to satisfy your taste buds and stomach.“

“Food is good. The younger lady behind the counter is super sweet. The other lady is a bit rough. We frequent this place often so wec know what to expect as far as all of the above. Only negative.. the restroom has had an out of order sign for 4 months and we see employees go in and out using a key. If we dine in( which we always do) aren't we supposed to have access to use the restroom???“

“The best pizza in the csra. Their pizza is so good that I drove over an hour for a vesuvius. My craving started late Friday night. I didn't have time Saturday so I planned my Sunday around lunch at pizza di Napoli. Sunday morning was torture.. my toothpaste tasted like tender and juicy pepperoni, my coffee had the sharp but warm scent of a wood fire and my biscuit from McDonald's tasted like.... well we know what they taste like. The drive over to aiken took forever. We finally arrive I felt like a kid on Christmas morning ...that got coal in his stocking. Closed from the 18th -26th. I had checked the website and called and listened to the recording and and and.... I'll still give you five stars but you may not be getting a Christmas card this years.“
