“First time at Good Girl Brewing today for lunch. We will be back! Millie was our server. She was excellent! Very friendly and really knowledgeable about all of their beer selections, offering samples and making recommendations based on our preferences. Impressive! On my wife's recommendation, we started out with the fried cheese curds and the baked pretzel, both of which were delicious. The curds were crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside and served with a tasty marinara. Portion size was plenty for 4 adults....and they were addictive. The pretzel was soft, salty, buttery and warm and served with a delicious cheese sauce. FYI, the cheese curds were delicious dipped in the cheese sauce too! 3 of the 4 of us got smashburgers with pimento cheese and the housemade chips. Delicious!! I opted for the fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese, all the fixings, and chips. Tender crispy breast meat and the pimento cheese was so good! All of the buns were buttery brioche and were soft and delicious! Worth it just for the food and service...but the beer was good too! I had a Turtle Dog IPA and others had the brown ale and a stout. My wife had a flight of 4 beers and the flight pours and sample pours were generous. Plenty of room inside with a long bar with seating and lots of 4 tops, but also lots of seating outside - some in the shade and most with umbrellas - lots of room for kids to run around. Apparently having a band tonight outside and would be a great venue for it! Lots of parking! All 4 of us agreed that we will be back! The SPCA was there today outside with a couple of dogs that were ready for adoption. They are there every other Saturday so go pet some pups after you eat and better yet, adopt one! Shelter dogs are the best dogs!!“
