“The food was delicious and came out with perfect timing. We tried the fried ravioli, goat cheese & beet salad, and the catfish sandwich. The amaretto almond cake was also delicious. We really appreciated the casual atmosphere. Our server, Ned, made the experience even better with his great suggestions and even a few travel tips.We're from out-of-town, otherwise we'd be regulars! “It's great to see another food option in Hammond's Ferry. Larder is a simpler place to get breakfast or lunch or coffee. They have good food at reasonable prices and they show a lot of promise (e.g. renting bikes for and selling picnic lunches... sounds like a great date idea!).“
“We ordered 8qty 16” pizzas today at 1pm for my daughter’s gender reveal party at 4pm and they accommodated us without issue. We ordered the Deluxe, the meat pizza, the Donna Rae, the cheesesteak , the four cheese, double pepperoni, the presto pesto, and the allie. Omg! Sooo Good. One guest said that was her favorite place and everyone else was saying they will visit it soon. They all checked out the menu and were planning their next meal. We paid over the phone and tipped in person. For such a large order payment was required over the phone which is standard practice now. They were busy when we arrived and that is always a good sign. Be sure to pick up on time because with such a large order it takes up room in their ovens. Anyways, they were great. BTW. I’m a new girl Grandma! Yay ?Vegetarian options: We had an amazing 4 cheese pizza they also had margarita, veggie pizza and an eggplant Parmesan sandwich I noticed. They have clear notes on their menu to make sure you share dietary restrictions so they can make sure no cross contamination happens. That is so considerate!“
“Fresh cooked food! Fried okra was the best I have tasted in a restaurant. The hand breaded catfish filets were super good. Watched the cook. Yummy French fries ? . Loved the hambuger steak meal! “We ate here yesterday and had a phenomenal experience. Bailey took care of us and she was cheerly and knowledgeable about the menu items. The kitchen took a little bit longer than expected for our dessert to come out and without us having to ask about it, Bailey kept us informed. We ordered crab egg rolls, lamb chops, wygu filet mignon, and apple pies. All items were delicious and the sweet tea was perfect. If you go, ask for Bailey. You will not be disappointed by her service or the food!“
