“My Husband and I came here last night for the first time and what a wonderful visit it was! When we got there the wait time was an hour long, but we didn't mind waiting. For those planning to visit I recommend calling ahead of time to see if you can be put on their wait-list. They had a plenty of indoor and outdoor seating space for those waiting to be seated. We chose to sit outdoors and enjoy the warm weather. While there we enjoyed feeding the ducks, peacocks and goats on the property. Feed can be purchased for all the animals for $.25 per handful. I had a wonderful time feeding the animals and swooning over the adorable baby goats. It helped the wait time fly by. The restaurant stuck to the wait time that was given and we were promptly seated exactly an hour after arriving. The restaurant offers complimentary hush puppies and grits, both of which were delicious. My Husband ordered the Fried Gator with Cole Slaw & French Fries and I ordered the Frog Legs with Cole Slaw & French Fries. We shared from each other's plates and it was phenomenal! Our waitress was so sweet and she gave us wonderful service. We will most definitely be back again!“

“This place is great. Had a chance to dine here this weekend and The atmosphere and the food is excellent. The owner of the place is a very nice guy. He made sure we felt right at home. This is the kind of establishment where You can get all dressed up and make it a date night kind of thing, or you can come casual and relax. I ordered the shrimp roll and my friend ordered the shrimp cocktail. We were also treated with the pan seared scallops and the sesame miso cod. Everything was delicious and very affordable. If you go there, make sure you ask for a side of potato salad. I honestly think it was the best potato salad I’ve ever had. Their drinks are top notch too. I ordered the 3-3-9 by recommendation of the owner and it did not disappoint. This place is in a prime location with great food, great drinks, great atmosphere and a great staff. I’m sure it’ll be around for years to come.“
“I have to say Wade is such a compliment to the N Augusta resturant... Ive always liked Captains ds for years.... They always have good customer service.. clean always ,good cooks.Etc. but i have to say some days are off more than others... dealing with the public . I worked customer service all my life.. and it can be unpredictable.. but a man was behind the counter, and he was the working counter, drive thru the whole front. Of course im a people "watcher"... Lol... But with all he was doing he never let "his smile turn into a frown". He never let his professionalism turn... He was a great personality, wit, and he smiled the whole time.. and it wasnt a ," had to smile".he was great... I found out today.. he is the manager of the North Augusta store. His personality should never go with out a " pat on back".... Great job.... Hats off........ I honestly believe he is true blue .. you will not walk out with a smile. “Kevin was our waiter. Great service! The food was good. I ordered two drinks from the bar, the first one was definitely a miss. Granted I ordered a drink that wasn’t on the menu. So maybe the bartender was unsure of the ingredients. They were willing to fix a second drink. Which was a more popular drink, not on the menu. but was also a miss. I do appreciate the attempts!“
“My favorite is those pototaes, ribs, chilly wings, sweet potato pie, Fish, strawberry cheese cake, strawberry short cake and its a lot more to much to name. Honestly you can't go wrong with anything you order everything is good. Everything season just right. The food is really good, customer service is awesome. They are very professional and clean. To meet them you know them. Their character speaks for itself. ? I go at least 3 times a week. I love the sweets. ?? If you haven't tried the ribs. They are finger licking good?“

“What can I say that hasn't been said about this place? This place has amazing food, great service and a good atmosphere. Everytime me and my wife eat here, we always leave planning our next date here. The mussels are awesome and I don't even like mussels. The bone in pork chop is always good and the cowgirl ribeye on special was great as well. Don't forget to try the oysters, they are always top notch.“

“We ate here yesterday and had a phenomenal experience. Bailey took care of us and she was cheerly and knowledgeable about the menu items. The kitchen took a little bit longer than expected for our dessert to come out and without us having to ask about it, Bailey kept us informed. We ordered crab egg rolls, lamb chops, wygu filet mignon, and apple pies. All items were delicious and the sweet tea was perfect. If you go, ask for Bailey. You will not be disappointed by her service or the food!“
