“I usually recommend Canal Coffee, but tonight I went by there to get my regular order of a 20 oz caramel thirty below and 20 ox iced latte. My thirty below was horrible and tasted just like whipped cream and it didn’t even have the right color. My iced latte was first made in the wrong size and when I brought it to the workers attention they corrected the size, but my drink was not right. I had to throw both drink away and it was just a waste of my money and I’m not happy with the service I received tonight.“

“This is one of my favorite places in the Columbia area! I love trying new pastries and finding what I like.
A note for my fellow gringos: when you enter, look to the right and grab a clean tray and some tongs. Then grab whatever looks good from the cabinets and remember that it's CASH ONLY. Most pastries are $1 or $1.50 each. The torta bread (usually on bread racks to the left) is particularly good. Try everything!
They are open long hours every day. Be kind to the staff!“

Cons: sometimes there’s a wait (patience is a virtue), they stopped carrying bags with handles, no sticker without an additional fee? Pretty odd considering I order these for customers who always love receiving Crumbl cookies.“

“First time visiting, was nice to have parking right beside the building and not have to negotiate parking on the street. Cute little bakery cafe in a brick strip mall. Few people having a coffee on the patio area. Everything looked so delicious! House made breads, cookies, cakes, and fresh brewed coffee. Will have to come back for lunch, the sandwiches looked so good. Grabbed a bunch of cookies for some client gifts and some lemon bars for me 😏. The staff was so friendly and helpful with all the different options they had freshly made that day. Will surely visit again!“

“Out here visiting family and they took me here because I love coffee and ube. Pretty much tried everything ube here, but the ube shaved ice was by far my favorite thing. The ube and tiramisu crepe cakes were really good, the ube latte was good, but a little sweet, but that was my fault because I usually order half sweet or just an Americano... I mean, everything I had here was really good. We went here twice in 3 days, but I would have gone 3 times if we didn't have other plans. Anyway, I can't recommend this place enough for coffee and dessert. I will definitely go when I visit my family again.“

“I took a one-on-one cake decorating lesson from Jan in April after years of wanting to learn, and my only regret is not looking her up sooner. The picture attached is the cake I was able to decorate after just that one lesson. Jan is incredibly knowledgeable and patient, and is the perfect teacher for decoration beginners.“

“On 10/4/25 we placed an order for our 11 yr old daughter (30 minis) to take to school for her BETA Club. To make a long story short the employee working that night didn't want to bake the cookies and tried to cancel the online order. Manager got involved after we left the store and promised the cookies to us the same night. Sent a family member to pick the cookies up since we don't live near the store. Thinking the cookies were lovely like they usually are she didn't check them. They looked raggedy and I guess that employee didn't like being forced to do her job. Contacted the manager with a picture of the mess & was directed back to the store. New day, new staff. I was greeted by Josie & Oliver who proved to be amazing young adults. They handled the situation like true professionals. I went in feeling let down and unappreciated as a customer. When I left I was happy and smiling. Thank you to the manager, Josie & Oliver for making right what was once wrong. To the female who tried to steal my joy & break the spirit of an 11 yr. old, customer service is an art form and you do not possess the skills required. All have generous amounts of the amazing cream cheese icing which we absolutely love even though the cakes themselves are super moist and delicious enough to eat without icing. I sent my parents to pick it up and when they came home I opened the box and saw it had been customized for me! The nice woman wrote a message for my birthday and iced some pretty flowers too!!
