“Let me just say, Saturday I made it my business to stop here after a trip to the State Fair. And although I live in Charlotte, please know that EVERY time I come to Columbia from now on, I WILL make a trip here! I ended up getting four different kinds of cake, and ALL of them were AH-MAZING!!! 10/10 I TOTALLY RECOMMEND!“

“First time visiting, was nice to have parking right beside the building and not have to negotiate parking on the street. Cute little bakery cafe in a brick strip mall. Few people having a coffee on the patio area. Everything looked so delicious! House made breads, cookies, cakes, and fresh brewed coffee. Will have to come back for lunch, the sandwiches looked so good. Grabbed a bunch of cookies for some client gifts and some lemon bars for me 😏. The staff was so friendly and helpful with all the different options they had freshly made that day. Will surely visit again!“

“The lady who treated us was So nice and she smiled the whole time and she even asked us if our cookie looked right just in case and she let me change a cookie and the cookies were amazing not baked to deal hard but not underbake to wear. They’re literally just cookie dough, but I do like how they have that cookie dough feeling.“

“On 10/4/25 we placed an order for our 11 yr old daughter (30 minis) to take to school for her BETA Club. To make a long story short the employee working that night didn't want to bake the cookies and tried to cancel the online order. Manager got involved after we left the store and promised the cookies to us the same night. Sent a family member to pick the cookies up since we don't live near the store. Thinking the cookies were lovely like they usually are she didn't check them. They looked raggedy and I guess that employee didn't like being forced to do her job. Contacted the manager with a picture of the mess & was directed back to the store. New day, new staff. I was greeted by Josie & Oliver who proved to be amazing young adults. They handled the situation like true professionals. I went in feeling let down and unappreciated as a customer. When I left I was happy and smiling. Thank you to the manager, Josie & Oliver for making right what was once wrong. To the female who tried to steal my joy & break the spirit of an 11 yr. old, customer service is an art form and you do not possess the skills required. Customer service is for those who care and obviously you don't. Hopefully the next time we visit Crumbl you won't be there because you definitely can not help me with anything.“

“Out here visiting family and they took me here because I love coffee and ube. Pretty much tried everything ube here, but the ube shaved ice was by far my favorite thing. The ube and tiramisu crepe cakes were really good, the ube latte was good, but a little sweet, but that was my fault because I usually order half sweet or just an Americano... I mean, everything I had here was really good. We went here twice in 3 days, but I would have gone 3 times if we didn't have other plans. Anyway, I can't recommend this place enough for coffee and dessert. I will definitely go when I visit my family again.“

I came by just after the breakfast crush and was able to place my order to go. The staff was efficient and the owner made sure my order was correct. “Was in Elgin visiting my son and his family. We went down to Soda City and stumbled across the food truck. Couldn't get enough of these. My recommendation is this: If you are a Weight Watcher, STAY AWAY! Once you get started, you can't stop. We bought a dozen, all of them different. Wonderful texture, taste . . . They are the whole nine yards and then some. Friendly service included for free! I will truly miss them as I'm in Denver, CO, but will look forward to visiting them the next time I'm in the area.“

“I just had to share my amazing experience at Kudzu. They closed for the day. Thankfully, the staff was incredibly accommodating and kindly opened the store just for me!
It is rare to find this level of customer service, and it really made my day. I genuinely appreciate their willingness to go beyond to ensure I had what I needed. It will not be my last visit!

So when it came time for our daughter's baptism this morning when we found out the Gourmet Shop offered a catering menu it became a no brainer for us. The catering options on a per head basis for 12 people were an incredible value. Our guests, many of whom do not live downtown now want to make it a point to visit the restaurant. “Lita's Treats has some of the best dessert in town. My personal favorites for the cupcakes are strawberry champagne and strawberry shortcake. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy, which is why I gave between four to five stars. However, the customer service could be better. I haven't had a negative encounter with any of the staff, but they don't make me feel welcome. From my experience, the ladies stare and wait for me to say what I want instead of, "Hello, welcome to Lita's. What would you like today?" They are friendly once you talk to them, but you have to begin the conversation. That would be my only complaint about Lita's, but I'd still recommend everyone come to this delicious dessert shop.“

“I ordered a cookie cake very last minute for myself today and the girl who was working there really went above and beyond for me! When I called to order, she said they were very busy and may not have time to make one to pickup the same day. I said she didn’t have to decorate it or anything, just a simple white border would be enough. She said that would be doable and it would be ready by today! I sent my parents to pick it up and when they came home I opened the box and saw it had been customized for me! The nice woman wrote a message for my birthday and iced some pretty flowers too!!
