I love red velvet cake but actually liked the hummingbird cake better! Both were excellent with the right amount of icing. The location was a little hard to find because the place was inside a music center and not well marked.“

“Very quiet, and simple coffeehouse with very extraordinary service, food and beverages. All the workers help with taking your order and answer any questions. I wanted the bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese but they were out of bagels, instead they gave me great alternative options that helped get the same taste of the option I wanted. I also took the mocktail, of the espresso martini. It was amazing. I can’t wait to come back and try out all the different options. Lovely place.“

“My daughter recently moved to Augusta and we visited the La Bonbonniere. We took home several chocolates for family and friends that were enjoyed by all. We made plans to take a tour for the day after Thanksgiving and never would have guessed there was so much to making chocolate. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have an all new respect for chocolatiers. I would fully recommend getting a group of family and friends together and making reservations for the tour…of course you can always purchase chocolates afterwards. ❤️❤️❤️“

“This has got to be one of the best little bakeries around here! The food is always amazing and fresh, made by hand not from a package. Chantelle and Sarah were helping me today and made everything so comfortable for my first time here and they were so friendly I really felt so happy and relaxed. I got the butter croissant and an iced coffee and it was amazing!! I definitely recommend.“

The type of service that makes you want to pour into a small business!they were an absolute HIT! Everyone loved all of the flavors, they were perfect! “It’s honestly really difficult to say whether or not I recommend this place. Most of the baked goods are some of the best quality in the area.. but if you want to go somewhere that you’ll receive a welcoming feeling.. I don’t recommend the new location. The prices aren’t listed on a single product, so there was a lot of “I believe it’s this price”. The gentleman who “helped” me had zero customer service skills and was borderline rude. He also had his long hair down hanging over the baked goods as he boxed them up for me. The original location is a much better overall experience, with A LOT more options to choose from. I was hoping to grab a cake today but there was not a single one. The amount of icing on the cupcakes is a bit absurd so I’ll probably take half of it off. I was very excited that they were opening a new location in Grovetown but I’d honestly much rather take the trek out to Augusta after the experience I just had.“

“If you are in the mood for home cooking, visit Big Mama's. They have a HUGE selection of southern entrees and more importantly, home cooked vegetables everyday (they are closed on Mondays). I have yet to be disappointed when coming in for a to go order. I tried the delivery using DoorDash but it was a disaster so I wouldn't recommend delivery options. When you order to go, you may have to wait about 15 minutes or so, but it is definitely worth the wait to have your food hot and fresh! Definitely a "Sunday's BEST", but also a great go-to when your body craves a home cooked meal!“
