I’m pretty sure we have tried everything on their awesome menu. Love the people who work ther,e, as they always make us feel welcome. In this economy, we have learned to spend wisely. “5 stars, because the food is *chefs kiss” I picked up my to-go order during a lunch rush and when I got home I realized it was not what I had ordered. I called once I realized the mistake and Crystal (manager) was so polite and even asked ME how I wanted it to be handled. I completely understand how hectic it gets and sometimes things get mixed up. No biggie, I was able to go back and get my correct order with Crystals help. She even gave me a cookie. So with that being said…. 5 STARS.“

“Literally the best bbq I’ve had in my life. Sweetest lady running this place. Great staff. All around a great place to go, everything house made and fresh out the smoker. Brisket 10/10, Greens 10/10, cornbread omg don’t get me started y’all, ribs 10/10, beans 10/10, mac and cheese 10/10, collards 10/10, banana pudding 10/10, her special tea 10/10. Overall 100000/10. No photos bc we tore that shit up. We’ll be back and will be telling everyone where to go!!“

“We were so ready to dive into our delicious meal today that we didn’t get a picture, but WOW!! So good!! Great service and fantastic chat with the manager!! Highly recommend the Freebird and the Pancake Tacos. For drinks give the Spiked Blueberry Lemonade and the Mimosa flight a go. Very comfortable, lively vibe all around!! Will definitely be back.“

“Located in the grand lobby of the Marriott Columbia, South Columbia, it’s the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snacks and drinks as the kitchen closes at 11:00 pm. The drinks and the food are great with a well stocked bar that can accommodate about 12-14 people and there’s always a table available. The service is exceptional and the wait staff is exactly what the hospitality industry should represent. Our waitress Shannon was super personable while being a consummate professional. The true southern hospitality personified. Highly recommend Midlands for hotel guests and anybody else looking for a great meal and a comfortable space.“

“I’m reminded of nearly fifteen years ago, when I stopped in for a visit with one of my great aunts telling me about this place. I remember her saying how good the food was, and especially the yams! We spoke more on the subject, and I told her that I would come back one day to pick her up and we’d go out to eat together and try the food out. Unfortunately, she passed shortly after, so I never got the chance to indulge such a hearty experience with her, however in spirit always! So, I decided after all these years to give them a try even though, I became vegan almost a year ago, but it’s been trying but I had a “cheat” day and gave them a shot! Oxtails/white rice & gravy, broccoli casserole, macaroni and cheese, stewed turkey wing, meatloaf, yams, and cornbread! Haven’t had a great meal like this in quite some time and it was well worth the wait! The staff were very kind, and the atmosphere was very nice! The food however… I’m a decent cook myself, and this was very reminiscent of my own cooking tbh. I was beyond impressed, I will definitely have to pay another visit very soon to try more menu items.“

“This places was just absolutely amazing. The Vibe was very nice and it was very friendly and family oriented. My server Alexa was just top tier! The professionalism, knowledge of the menu and overall service was immaculate. It was my first time ever trying Kiki’s Chicken and Waffles being that I am only visiting the area for work, and I Guarantee I will be back. I didn’t know what I wanted and Alexa let me know her top favorite dishes on the menu which helped me make my decision. The food was Hot, delicious, and came out in a timely manner. I definitely will be returning and thank you again Alexa for such amazing service and making me already feel like a repeat customer, and thank you cooks for ensuring that my food made a wonderful part of the experience, also, you have to Try the Koolaid, it was the Bomb!“

“This was an evening to remember! We wanted to try something different for Date Night. What we got was An amazing ambience and an incredible meal. The service was impeccable —from the greeting from the hostess/bartender to our Cosmopolitans then our meal. The Cosmopolitan was excellent. We had the Salmon Dinner and their “Signature” Club Sandwich. It was not only mouth watering but both were perfectly cooked - to include the portion sizes are huge! We really enjoyed our dining experience.If you're looking for a restaurant that provides a romantic atmosphere with great food, this is the place. We plan to visit once a month for Date Night. Hats off to the Chef and Bartender, she is definitely a value added asset. - Denise B.“

“A friend and I have regular dinner dates at Terra and we always have a great time! Tonight we had the shishito peppers, Chinese pork belly, snapper and the braised lamb pappardelle followed by the olive oil cake with sweet cream eggplant ice cream. We both agreed it was one of our top meals over the past several years at Terra and cannot wait until our next date! Quality, consistency and service are always top notch, and the one time we tried another restaurant for our date night we totally regretted it and went right back to Terra for our next meetup. Thank you Terra for being so reliable and delivering some of the best bites in the area, you are our gem!“
