10/10 would recommend this restaurant. I wish I had a picture to post of my plate, but the food was just too good for me to take one. Perfectly seasoned. Will most definitely be going back.
Flew in town for a training; im not even from here. This restaurant came up on google and of course I was nervous.I ordered the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, and the potatos as my side. Im from Louisiana and im giving this five stars. It tasted like the food I have back at home. It was so fresh and flavorful I was highly impressed. The cornbread was clearly made from scratch and was sweet and buttery but not too sweet and was soft as hell. I wish I had known about this before Thursday...read full review

This food is really good. The candied yams are ? ? ? and I’m a yam snob! Cornbread is homemade, chicken is definitely on point and the Mac n cheese definitely has soul! I’ve tried the other soul food places around town and I grew up in the south. This little store is giving them some serious competition!
