It was a Saturday night, and we had no reservations, but were there late and so there was a table available. The experience started with the helpful woman at valet. She was so friendly and accommodating. She recommended the fried green tomatoes, which were great. The appetizers and mains were excellent, but the sides of creamy grits and greens were the best I've had. They also had a great beer and wine selection and excellent pricing. Definitely a satisfying experience, and I would go back again anytime.“
“My biggest complaint with this place is they don't have any real dishes and they don't have any real silverware. I just do not like to eat with a plastic fork on pieces of paper. So I probably will only go rarely. I think if I gotta take out it would be cold and unpleasant when I got to my destination. “Sam, the owner is SO kind! I had an issue with my loaded fry. My fries were fried really hard which make them crunchy and not enjoyable to eat. I did not know the name of the food truck nor did I have the contact information to contact the owner. I also didn't feel like driving back to the food truck once I got home because it was so busy. I kept the food for a week in hopes to see her the following Friday. I drove to town that Friday and she was in the same location so I spoke to her about my issue. Even though, I did not have the food with me to show her proof they I wasn't trying to get over, she still replaced the food. I could tell she was skeptical while conversing but she still decided to rectify the issue because she appreciates her customers. This was my second time earing at the food truck and I must say I will be a long time customer. She is professional, has extraordinary service, and the food is delicious!! YOU MUST TRY IT!!!“
“I always wish I could give 1/2 stars because some things are not worth the full star, but this will do. My husband and I enjoyed our experience. It was our first time eating here. It is a bit pricey so if you're on a budget I don't recommend going or only go for special occasions. We enjoyed our drinks and the cheese board. My husband got quail and waffles, which he loved. I got the bbq plate with ribs. I liked the bbq, but the ribs are smoked, and that's not my thing. Also, the mustard bbq sauce they put on it is a bit spicy, and I'm not one to eat a lot of spicy stuff. I am gluten-free, and I had contracted them beforehand about their options, which they have. I told the waiter I was gluten-free, and that is an allergy, but I was still served 2 rolls on my plate. I just removed the rolls and didn't make a big deal about it, but the waiter didn't even recognize the error when he came and checked on us. We also had the strawberry ice cream for dessert. You are quite packed into the place, so people sit very close to you, making for a not so intimate atmosphere. We overall enjoyed our experience and will probably go back in the future.“

I called once I realized the mistake and Crystal (manager) was so polite and even asked ME how I wanted it to be handled. I completely understand how hectic it gets and sometimes things get mixed up. No biggie, I was able to go back and get my correct order with Crystals help. She even gave me a cookie. So with that being said…. 5 STARS.“
“I worked here for many years and although I am not a fan of Mr. Robert Williams as he is mean to most of the staff, I am a fan of all the other Williams!! I do like the customers and I very much like the food! I must still give credit to the cleanliness of the restaurants and the quality of the food. The food is absolutely delicious! So I will not take away from that. My favorites are Flounder, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, collards, beef stew…. Oh! The salads are amazing with the fried chicken and egg! Omlets are good, don’t really like the bread anymore, that is probably because I ate it from the age of 16-30 haha. Nice friendly atmosphere from the customer perspective and good service! If you ever run into Mr. Matt Williams; He is one of the kindest people I ever met! John Williams too! “Last night my Mother, Daughter, & I went to dine in at Poogan's and let me state how this place Exceeded our Expectations from the cleanliness, décor, & quiet atmosphere !! We were welcomed & greeted by Tara whom made the BEST drinks & was very kind. Once seated, our waiter; Jalen assisted us and provided us with many suggestions all while waiting patiently as we decided. Jalen knowledge of the menu and level of service was Exceptional. “I had an amazing experience with the crab legs – it felt like heaven! The Jamaican jerk butter was absolutely amazing – you have to try it! My daughter enjoyed the chicken tenders and fries, which were so delicious. Everything was seasoned to perfection! The service was fantastic, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. “Ribs had a nice, mildly sweet, smokey flavor . The ribs are not the most tender, they aren't smoked for long. Mash potatoes and gravy was tasty. Broccoli casserole is ok. They try way harder than most restaurants with the Mac and cheese. 3 sides, 4 bones of ribs, $15. And the plate is heavy! They're not stingy with portions. I will try their very affordable chicken baskets next time. Customer Service was good.“
