“So I went here about 9:56 pm to pick up a call in order. I ordered Chicken Parmesan and Carrot cake, when I say good, I shared it with my niece and still had some leftover. It was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place any time!!! And carrot cake simply positively scrumptious melt in your mouth good. I gave it 10 stars!!!! And they service was extremely excellent.“
“It's a great Italian restaurant despite the size of the restaurant! I enjoyed the food there especially the chicken Parmesan and the baked spaghetti! I also enjoyed the soup, which was a spinach and Italian sausage style soup! The service was excellent and the waitress was very nice and friendly! That was the biggest highlight of the visit! The atmosphere was very pleasant and the restaurant was very clean overall! I'm glad that I chose this restaurant for visiting Columbia!“
“Ate here for the first time trying to find something close by after leaving the hospital. There wasn’t a lot of people so we were able to get seated and get our food pretty quickly. Food was good and we would eat here again to try other things on the menu.“
“I always get the same thing: The largest steak or a filet with the Brian topping, fresh mashed potatoes and asparagus. I love that you get 2 sides and a soup or salad as opposed to 1 side with your steak as most places serve. In the past I have been disappointed with their mojito but upon my last visit I tried their Italian old fashioned and it was superb.“
“I loved the ambiance of this place. I love that there are no tvs, how small and dark it is. It reminds me of places in NYC. The service was great. The food was good. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of pasta dishes for an Italian restaurant, but that's my only complaint.“
“The service has been on point all 3 times we’ve gone, nowadays that’s pretty amazing, the food is absolutely On Point, been outstanding every time, don’t mess up and not order dessert the Tiramisu is dynamite!!!!! I don’t even like bread pudding and my wife got it, it was incredible, Highly Recommend!!!!!!“
“It is so amazing when you have a hidden gem in your city. Di Vinno Rosso gives you beautiful ambiance, great food, drinks, and a romantic feel. The appetizer meatballs were so fresh and flavorful. I had the Bolognese was off the charts good. Wifey had the chicken parm. I've never seen it like this, but the pesto on top of the pounded round chicken was so juicy and flavorful we both were blown away. It's the best parm in Columbia! The dessert was really good also. With drinks, our bill was still under $145. The manager was super nice.. he took our picture and gave us a complimentary Italian drink. We'll definitely be regulars here in the future. 5 stars deserved. Great food and service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“I ordered the Alfredo Fries and Lamb Gyro. The fries were nice and crispy just like I asked for. The Alfredo fries were great. Nice and flavorful. The lamb Gyro was good. I lived in Europe for three years. I used to eat, gyros all of the time fresh off of the roller. I have a higher standard than most people for a Gyro. The Gyro at this location was OK. It was not amazing and it was not bad, it's right in the middle. The Tzatziki sauce was extremely cucumbery. They should use less cucumber next time. The sauce overall was about a five out of ten, it was average. The overall atmosphere inside of the restaurant is great. There is plenty of seating and a nice bar. They do not sell liquor at this location but they do have wine and beer that you can buy. The waitress was wonderful. She made sure I had everything that I needed and that I was ok.“
“You really can't go wrong here. It's an iniviting atmosphere on the inside and I've eaten outside as well. They have great servers due to being there for a few years. The food is terrific and haven't had all the sandwiches yet. So still some future visits to go.“
“Tried Enzo's for the first time yesterday for lunch. I got the chicken parmesan sub and it was outstanding. Cant wait to go back and try some of the other items on the menu. Hopefully they get their indoor dining area finished up soon.“
“First time in a long time and the people that work here are wonderful and kind!!! Highly recommend, check it out! This location is the best!!!Vegetarian options: You can literally order anything off the menu and turn it into a vegan or vegetarian dish.“
“From out of town and was in the mood for some good pizza. Being from NY and Italian I was skeptical. Saw this on googles “best list” and man they weren’t kidding. The restaurant is so nice. Great ambiance.I ordered a peroni but it wasn’t cold so Colette put it on ice!! She was such a great waitress. She didn’t rush me which was amazing after a 10hour drive. ?????I then ordered the small Greek salad, the breadsticks, and a small traditional with olives spinach onions and tomatoes.Everything was absolutely delicious. I was stuffed to the brim. This is a must place for some amazing food!Ok Columbia, I’m impressed ???Thank you for putting delicious pizza out there!“
“We love to go on "Opera Thursdays" (the second or third Thursday each month). Not only do we enjoy the food, but the entertainment is by some very talented singers. Some of those who have sung at Carnegie Hall, many traveling opera troops all over the world, as well as local talented teachers from USC, Columbia College, Benedict College, and other schools from the area.Villa Tronco is the oldest restaurant in Columbia, and with four generations of experience, have really perfected the food, wine selections, and graceful service. In addition they offer Broadway and Jazz nights on Thursdays.Reservations are a must for the Jazz, Broadway and Opera evenings.Vegetarian options: Ask the server for details as the menu has specials which include a vegetarian choice.Dietary restrictions: My husband is dairy free, and they always accommodate him. The servers also alert the kitchen because they have many items that are made to order and can be adapted.Parking: There is a lot at the corner of Sumter and Blanding that is available in the evenings. Look for the sign at the entrance“
“My Good friend had just gotten off work and we were both hungry. Without debate we agreed eating here would be our Best Bet for Great Food without fail. It was approx 5:30pm and quite busy, however we were seated in not time. Waiter on point with flawless execution of service. Every single food item was absolutely fresh n deliciously prepared. ?“
“As someone who is a vegetarian with Celiacs, I was disappointed with the appetizers/entre selection. I finally settled on a salad, because they did not have gluten free pasta, no gluten free crackers (like Crunch Master) for the cheese plate, no gluten free bread, and for some reason they wanted to put lamb on a caprese salad (marked vegetarian on the menu)??? I asked for a larger portion of the caprese (vegetable/greens/etc.), minus the lamb, and got a small salad the size of my first for $18. Luckily, the desert selection was far better, being I was starving and had ordered a bottle of wine for the table. I actually had several good gluten free choices for deserts. My husband and friend (who knows the owner) enjoyed their appetizer and main course selections. My husband's pasta dish potion was ample. Our service was excellent. In fact, the first bottle of wine had a bad cork, and Drew got us another bottle. We ended up taking another bottle home (as a gift for our friend) and tipped him well, because he was so conscientious. With Italian restaurants like Travinia's near, which cater very well to people with allergies (they have a separate allergy prep area), we hope this establishment will choose to do likewise in the future so "everyone" can enjoy their meals and not worry about someone not getting enough to eat. It is actually nerve wracking for me to have others trying to advocate for me, because they are worried I can't enjoy my food like they are in these situations. In all, Drew's efforts gave the review an extra star. He did what he could to make the situation better, but I don't think those preparing my salad paid attention to his notes. My friend who knew the owner was a bit embarrassed for suggesting this restaurant in the end because of the rigidity of the menu and lack of catering to gluten allergies. We plan to try the Dragon Room (same owner) next together and hope the meal goes better for all who are dining.Vegetarian options: Frustrated that a salad selection marked vegetarian some how ended up including lamb??? Then when I stipulated without lamb but with more of the greens, I didn't get much to eat for $18.Dietary restrictions: If you have Celiacs and are a vegetarian, you have a few desert selections but almost nothing else to eat on the menu because they don't have gluten free pasta, nor gluten free bread, nor gluten free crackers.“
