“We have been to Irene’s several times since the change-over from Mig’s. Everything we have had there has been great !! Isaiah (owner) is going out of his way to serve good food and have excellent service. We greatly appreciate the $9.99 Any Sub Special that comes with fries or onion rings. No Matter the Wait...Worth It !! We especially love the delicious Philly Cheesesteaks which are juicy with mushrooms, onions and cheese !! Lots of meat & great flavor !! “We stopped here after pumpkin picking at Stewart farms and it was FANTASTIC! The food was fresh made and wonderful and the service was amazing. For one person..it is a bit expensive but..it is a top of the line Italian Restaurant and no place in Laurens County, SC can even come close.Parking…Roma’s is in the heart of the Laurens Square, there’s a lot of free parking near by most of which says 2 hr parking..no meters, so don’t know how they would possibly time it.Food..Eggplant Parm Dinner. It came with the salad and bread. Had 3 layers of Eggplant smothered in melted cheese over spaghetti. The sauce had a nice texture and you can tell it wasn’t jarred sauce.Service…They went above and beyond. So when I was there, there was an older woman who misjudged the step to the table area and she went down hard and I mean hard..sounded like a train wreck or a car came through the building. EVERYONE of the staff and customers went to help her…when I say everyone, I mean even the kitchen staff came out.Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms, they do have outside dining as well.Eggplant Parm dinner with tip came out to 25.“
