“While in town for work I’d stumbled upon this place and - I don’t say this lightly - eating here has been a religious experience. My bank account is made more safe by the distance between this lovely establishment and my home. Rootamentary, I’ve fallen hard for you. You are worth every bit of a two and a half hour drive and we WILL meet again. Sweet potato bread pudding, where have you been all my life?! Food, excellent. Service, superb.”

“This place was great and the staff was so friendly!! We're in town for a wedding and wanted to find a nice breakfast place that was different. We had the all meat, s'mores, and the chicken mushroom crepes. They were fantastic!!”

“First time going to Roma based on recommendations and they did NOT disappoint. For one person..it is a bit expensive but..it is a top of the line Italian Restaurant and no place in Laurens County, SC can even come close.Parking…Roma’s is in the heart of the Laurens Square, there’s a lot of free parking near by most of which says 2 hr parking..no meters, so don’t know how they would possibly time it.Food..Eggplant Parm Dinner. It came with the salad and bread. Had 3 layers of Eggplant smothered in melted cheese over spaghetti. The sauce had a nice texture and you can tell it wasn’t jarred sauce.Service…They went above and beyond. So when I was there, there was an older woman who misjudged the step to the table area and she went down hard and I mean hard..sounded like a train wreck or a car came through the building. EVERYONE of the staff and customers went to help her…when I say everyone, I mean even the kitchen staff came out.Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms, they do have outside dining as well.Eggplant Parm dinner with tip came out to 25.”

“We had a few people order take out so I can’t vouch on atmosphere because of being delivered..but between the pizza, garlic bread with cheese and sauce, and the pizza with the ham, sausage, ground beef..top notch. Best pizza in Laurens ”

“Warm, friendly service. Food was great. The salsa and guacamole were very fresh and delicious. Very relaxed setting. Lovely decor. I especially liked the metal wall art. Very much recommend.”

“I've been passing by there over a year and wanted to try it out but they always closed. So today I'm off of work and decided to stop. Glad I did. It's exactly the kind of place I've been looking for. I got hamburger plate with onion rings, chicken strips and cheese sticks. It was good. They use ground beef and not the frozen pattys. It has the home cook food also. Definitely will be coming there more often. I'm not from Hickory Tavern but the Cafe has that small town everyone knows everyone feel. “The food was fine, nothing outstanding. We both had bacon cheeseburgers with fries and coleslaw. Pricing was reasonable as the burger with 2 sides was a bit under $13 .Our service was very good. “Went with the family for late breakfast the day after Thanksgiving. House was full of people and had a small wait, which is usually a good sign. I decided try the Steak Melt with covered and peppered crispy hashbrowns and extra pickles. Very satisfied and with the food quality, the staff and cleanliness.”

They were having a big show that night and was very busy but still awesome. And if you like food don’t hesitate it is off the chain. Everything from fish down to the burgers.
