Chinese Restaurants near Laurens

“China Star has been our regular Chinese buffet in Laurens for a good while. The coconut shrimp, sesame chicken, and crab rangoon are consistently good, and everything on the buffet stays hot and fresh. Friendly staff who take care of the regulars, clean place, and solid value. The apple turnover used to be a nice little treat at the end—hoping to catch it next time. Simple, reliable, and still our go-to when we want Chinese without the drive. We’ll be back.“

“First time coming here, server was very friendly and helped us decide what was good.
Ordered the steak and mushroom hibachi with sweet carrots. Those carrots were almost a dessert themselves super soft and sweet, compliments the savory steak which was tender as well.
The rice was delicious as well as the Philadelphia Roll and Spicy Salmon roll.
The edamame was good too!
Can’t wait to be back!

“They may not speak good English, but they understand enough to communicate. She is direct, but I like that. I can see how that could come across a little rude, but she’s always been nice to us. They make really good food. We will always dine here.“

“A nice cozy diner with a plethora of different options. Thankfully the food isn't too greasy like many restaurants like this so that's a plus. Definitely try any of the sushi while you're here it's great, and I haven't gotten sick from it once in the years I've frequented it so don't worry. The combination meals are a great go to as well; or the newer Thai options like Thai fried rice which I'd recommend too. As for negatives well some of the seating could do with an improvement.“

“I did one of these for the place a couple years ago and now it’s gone..so whether they deleted it or it just dropped off due to the time, I don’t know.
This place is located in Food Lion Plaza. If you catch them when they’re busy, the guy who takes the orders is very short with you and you get what they give you..mostly never any extra sauces or sometimes even the wrong order if you modify it..albeit, say you want something crispy cooked soft..you’ll get it completely inedible and hard as a rock.
That hasn’t been my experience here lately. I went from getting sesame chicken combo with a side of lo mein to getting the Mongolian chicken combo. The only downside is the amount of rice you get..I don’t need 5 pounds of rice.
Other wise, best Chinese in Clinton/Laurens.“
