China Star has been our regular Chinese buffet in Laurens for a good while. The coconut shrimp, sesame chicken, and crab rangoon are consistently good, and everything on the buffet stays hot and fresh. Friendly staff who take care of the regulars, clean place, and solid value. The apple turnover used to be a nice little treat at the end—hoping to catch it next time. Simple, reliable, and still our go-to when we want Chinese without the drive. We’ll be back.

Very friendly and responsive host. Knows many of his customers. Place is clean and quick for takeout. Buffet well stocked. We recommend the family meal special for a good deal. Good job!
