Maurice's BBQ Piggie Park Reviews
Our July 4th take out order of 2 (two) plates, called in, took 45 minutes of waiting i side, with no air conditioning. No apology or explanation, just a few more minutes. Smallest portions I have ever seen and it just wasnt that good. Please do something with this store on Highway 6 before it completely destroys your reputation and your business.
We stopped at the main restaurant for a meal years ago on our way to or from Florida and fell in love with the Barbecue sauce. Have stopped in when the time is right for a meal. Have the sauce delivered now.
I am (largely) a meat eater only. Ordering burgers without buns, etc. has been pretty disappointing UNTIL I STOPPED HERE!! We ate at the Clemson Rd store. My husband loved his chili dog & these were the best cheeseburgers I have had in a very, very long time--AND reasonably priced. We will be back!! Thank you!!!

Maurice's BBQ Piggie Park offers delicious South Carolina BBQ, specifically mustard-based. Visitors often praise the barbecue sauce, which has left a lasting impression and is now available for delivery. The restaurant is known for its cleanliness and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment for out-of-state visitors and locals alike. The brisket is highly recommended, along with ribs, mac'n'cheese, bacon cheeseburgers, and sweet tea, which many customers find delicious even if they are not typically fans of BBQ. The staff is polite, helpful, and attentive to orders, ensuring a positive experience every time. Parking is available around the facility, and the restaurant is family-oriented with wheelchair ramps and accessible parking. Despite some past odd encounters with staff, the overall experience of enjoying authentic SC BBQ at Maurice's Piggie Park remains worth it, making it a good place to sample true Southern flavors before traveling on. Customers also appreciate that the food comes out hot and fresh, with some noting that arriving early is best if they want the brisket, as it can sell out quickly. The ribs and brisket are praised for being tender, full of flavor, and falling off the bone. The pulled pork sandwich is also enjoyed, though some mention that service can sometimes seem distracted or not fully friendly, and organization may be lacking. Overall, many still love Maurice's BBQ and recommend stopping by when passing through the area.
