Friendliest staff around. Friday night, big fried shrimp on the buffet. Saturday night, fried catfish on the buffet. Just a great little place!“
“We ate here this afternoon, and everyone was amazing. The food was great and came out in a timely manner. The salad bar was the best I’ve had at a restaurant of this magnitude in a while. “Absolutely the best variety of humongous baked potatoes loaded with just about whatever you want You pick! I had the Philly cheese steak baked potato and it was to die for I had enough leftover for lunch the next day that's how big it was. And I'm a big eater. I thought it was a bit pricey at $14 before I got it and afterwards I'm like wow! So I got two meals for $14 one there and half of it to take home. I was skeptical that this could possibly be a good restaurant. But let me just tell you it is not good it is excellent, Superior!“
“Wife and myself ate here Saturday February 17, 2024 for the first time and we were very pleased. Not only was the service very friendly and fast, but huge portions on our plates. This is a hidden gem in Batesburg-Leesville, SC. I ordered a Chili cheese fries for appetizers and it was delivered quickly. Before I could get 1/4 through the Hugh plate, my main plate of BBQ Ribs and fries was delivered. Wow! I have never had service so fast and Huge portions whereas I just finished the Ribs and had to take the rest home. My wife had the hamburger steak and collard greens. The plate was loaded. I wish I had taken a picture to show the huge plate of food. It was delicious and she couldn't eat even half and we took the rest home. This is definitely going to be my favorite restaurant in this area, and will definitely return each weekend to try other dishes. I extremely recommend this restaurant which is located across from the WalMart shopping center. The waitress we had did an excellent job and gave great service. Only caution is if you get there after 5:30, it is super crowded because the food and value is so good. If you can get a parking spot, it will be worth the wait. They have a very limited schedule to be open so plan accordingly.“
“This little hole in the wall (gas station restaurant) is amazing! My husband and I usually get the Country Breakfast: 2 eggs, grits bacon or sausage and toast for $5.00. Where can you go today and eat that cheap? Our food is always hot and delicious; It is worth a visit! Enjoy :)“
“We came to see a friend perform live. He was great, funny, and spontaneous! The food was good, flavorful, and well prepared! The pulled pork was a bit dry, but otherwise had flavor. There was only one waitress doing the bar and the tables, so the service was a bit slow, and we had to call her over a few times because she was so busy. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves!“
“Super good food! I learned the owner (I’ll bet you a dollar his name is Joey!), opened this restaurant when he was 19 years old! Awesome food. Great service! Clean! And Joey’s mom is the best in the whole world. Friendly lady! Joey, you need to give her a raise. Or, maybe be the best son known to mankind! She is bringing in business like there is no tomorrow! I want her to be my mom, except she’s about as young as I am. I asked her what sub sandwich was best. She made some very logical and helpful suggestions. So good. Try any of them. Everything I saw coming out and being eaten looked REALLY GOOD. So, I had the Club Sub Sandwich. It was warm and good! Do it! Get one! Wait… get three of them! Take one home to your mom. Give one to Joey’s mom. She is a peach! Thank you for great food and great experience!“
