Restaurant chain Mexican food. * I've been spoiled with authentic so...and I understand the clientele their catering to.Will I be back? YES. WHY? Not a whole Lotta options around, it's close, folks are nice, beats Taco Hell.**I did just get tacos, so I should try some other things honestly before judging the food.I wonder what dishes THEY would recommend, I should ask.

Chicanos Tacos and Tequila, is the most authentic and amazing restaurant in Columbia, SC period! The Birra Tacos are so amazing as the Baja Tacos and every food item on the Menu! Every time I go back I find another AMAZING meal. The staff and bar tenders are amazing also! Leo is top Dawg and he make sure everything is amazing! The restaurant is family inside and love large families and friends! Bring everyone! You will love this scratch made cuisine!

I had a birthday lunch with a friend today. I had the carnitas torta and it was fantastic! The pork was juicy and flavorful. The bread was yummy. It was huge! My friend had a chicken quesadilla and loved every bite. She said that the chicken was very moist. She was going to order dessert. When they found out that it was my birthday, they sang Happy Birthday to me and gave me my dessert with a candle stuck in the ice cream. The staff were very friendly and the potential to grow into a favorite spot. They are slowly decorating and I can't wait to see the finished results. Support locals and give the restaurant a chance. We can help it grow!

We have visited Chicano's three times so far, and they have exceeded our expectations every time... It is a "west coast" Mexican experience... Baja Tacos are outstanding !!!Definitely recommend...We will be returning soon !!!

Food is amazing, very clean, and service was excellent! Nothing like it around here in Columbia SC. I’m from Texas and tried about every Mexican restaurant around… this taste like home! Safe to say i finally found my go to!

Who is keeping this place in business l mean WHO!!! Went during Happy Hour that was the worst Happy Hour l have ever been to. The drinks are watered down l didn’t even taste any liquor at all. The drinks are served in the smallest glass and they have the nerve to charge $6.00 The manager walks by several times did not acknowledge us. And it was freaking cold in there. Never will l go back there it was my first and definitely my last time!!!
