I recently dined at Panda Garden, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional—each dish was bursting with fresh flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The shrimp chow mein was a standout, with tender shrimp and a savory, flavorful sauce that complemented the crisp vegetables perfectly.
What made the visit even more enjoyable was the incredibly warm and welcoming staff. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with genuine smiles and attentive service, making us feel right at home. Their friendliness and prompt service truly enhanced the dining experience. Panda Garden is definitely a gem, and I can’t wait to return for another fantastic meal!

Not sure if they changed ownership or what, but we used to love their food, this time we ordered chicken hibachi and it was awful, no flavor and rice was not the same we used to get from them in the past, also the yum yum sauce was not the same, it was super runny, we ended up throwing the whole thing away, sadly we will not be going back

I was trying to order my lunch and the man kept saying he did not understand me. I kept repeating the order at least 4 times. He then had the nerve to ask me an American who speaks very clear English if I speak English. I told him he was being very rude to a customer who orders from them alot and he said YEAH OKAY. How disrespectful could he be when I had done nothing to him. Good bye Panda.

The food was really Nasty the sesame Chicken was hard and tasted rubbery I had to Spit it out and it made Is my stomach upset And i'm pregnant and it made me nauseous This place is the most nastiest place I have ever ate Chinese food This chinese restaurant made me Never won't chinese food again I need recommendations for a better chinese food place

Online said it came with ham fried rice between 11:00 and 3. But they told me it didn’t . Lo mein was dry.
I’ve lived in Elgin almost my entire life and have always chose Panda Garden for chinese takeout. Never had an issue with the food, heck, there have been a few times over the years that they have given me a little extra helping on occasion. I think I’ve only had one issue customer service wise over the years but it wasn’t major, some people have bad days and that’s okay. I do think in the past the ‘friendliness’ factor wasn’t very good back in the day but it has gotten a lot better over time from more recent visits these past 2-3 years. (I’m assuming it’s 50/50 depending on who is on the register and if they are in a good mood or not that day haha.) The food has always been great quality, hits the spot, and only have to wait 20 mins max for it to be ready. Thank you for all the years of good food!
