I’ve lived in Elgin almost my entire life and have always chose Panda Garden for chinese takeout. Never had an issue with the food, heck, there have been a few times over the years that they have given me a little extra helping on occasion. I think I’ve only had one issue customer service wise over the years but it wasn’t major, some people have bad days and that’s okay. I do think in the past the ‘friendliness’ factor wasn’t very good back in the day but it has gotten a lot better over time from more recent visits these past 2-3 years. (I’m assuming it’s 50/50 depending on who is on the register and if they are in a good mood or not that day haha.) The food has always been great quality, hits the spot, and only have to wait 20 mins max for it to be ready. Thank you for all the years of good food!

This will forever be my favorite Chinese food spot. Food is always fresh, hot and ready by the time I get there. Boneless spare rib combo is my go to meal. The dining area isn’t huge but it’s big enough to accommodate 8 or so groups…more than adequate in my opinion.

Unfortunately upon going in every time I don’t get a hello or thank you I don’t get nothing just a stare. Also I have CNN blasting in my ear. Not saying fox is any better but news in general is annoying I’m just trying to pick up my dinner.Price why is sweet and sour chicken almost 13. I can go to red bowl in Sandhills for lunch and get a banging lunch for under 8 and better quality. Unfortunately they lost a customer tonight. I know Elgin is growing and they feel they got the upper hand and losing me isn’t a big deal but hey maybe others will wise up and not allow the rudeness and over priced food to win.
