San Jose Mexican Restaurant

The desserts were out of this world. I could tell they were made from scratch with care. The service was efficient and cheerful. I’ll be craving that chocolate cake for weeks.

A little mix up on the order w some small uncharged once corrected salad instead of beans ordered but overall great place and seemed quick to resolve our delayed third order done as requested .

This place is excellent. My brother is a regular here and i have been here a few times. The service, food, atmosphere and drinks here are impeccable. The staff are also warm and friendly. I willbe coming here every time i come through town. 10/10 you definitely need to come here.

This is my first time ever at the San Jose in Elgin! The experience was great! Cameran was our waitress and she was amazing. She was energetic and helpful. Our food came out in 5 minutes and was perfect. Shoutout Cameran ! Id give 6 stars if I could !

Great place good service

Because they had not priced Any alcoholic drinks, I didn't bother even asking. Also, lunch specials are mostly chicken, not meat, and a bit pricy for Mexican. However, the food, friendly service, Excellent salsa, and guacamole redeemed the experience as did my company ❣️?

While this is a chain-style restaurant, it was a very nice place to eat at. The service was phenomenal and the food was on point. I felt like a pig eatting everything on my plate, but I couldn't stop.

I did the three item meal choice and got a taco, tostada, and tamale and they were all fresh and tasted great. Wife got the chori-Pollo meal and there was so much she had a second meal from the left overs.
