First of all, let me start off by saying the food gets 3 stars because of my situation described in this review. On March 26, 2024 my friend and I came to the restaurant to do a take out order. The bartender (don't have her name, but she's pregnant) did not greet us. She asked if we wanted menus, no hello welcome to Bird's Nest or anything. I ordered the Thai Chili wings (2 orders). She didn't even give us time to see if we wanted to order anything else (at least ask is there anything else we wanted). The wait time was not bad. The bartender brought the orders out and did not give us a 'thank you for coming or anything.' Just placed the food on the bar and that was it. Well, as always I checked my order before leaving. In one of my boxes I saw there was a chicken wing full of feathers. I asked the bartender if I could get a replacement. How is it that the cook did not see this when he/she was placing the food in the box? When I opened the box that was the first thing I saw. I did get a replacement without a 'we are so sorry that happened' or at least 'let me give you a soft drink for that mishap.' She brings my replacement wing out and placed it on the counter, then walks off. Number 1, work with your employees on their attitudes and number 2, make sure your cooks check the food before serving.

Great little spot for some food and a drink. Sandwiches, wraps and appetizers were all good. My favorite was the fried banana pepper rings. So good. Family friendly as well.

Arrived at 5:30 and sat on the back patio. First service at 5:45. First round of drinks around 6:00pm. Appetizers arrived at 6:20. Partial orders arrived at 6:45. 7:05 and still waiting for the food I ordered. Entirely unacceptable.

Ask what was on a item and found it to be different also friends asked for their meal to be cooked medium and it was very well done. Waiter acted like it did not matter. But live and learn. Good luck.

OMG!! I have ate burgers and fries all my life, like most of us. But after eating here I found out that it's a whole new world!! THIS WAS DELICIOUS!! Best fries I have ever had in my 55 years! I had the TRAIL BLAZER burger I believe and it was one of the best burgers that I ever tasted! Definitely will be back!!

FUN! We were in town for the pecan festival, we walked in during some BIG football games. We quickly grabbed a seat chatted with some strangers and enjoyed some great food. We aren't drinkers but we love a good tavern, exactly what I was lookin for!
They have the single worst online menu I have ever seen and no physical menus. You have to download an app and an make an account just to see what beers they have. They don’t QR codes so you have to fish around on the internet while you are there at the bar for a few minutes just to see the beers available. Service would have been multiple times better if they just had menus or QR codes.
