I went here recently, and usually I have no issues, but I found a live maggot in my brisket and I haven't wanted to go since then. Plus, the customer service is bad. Do not go here!!

My husband and I just love Holt BBQ. Their brisket is amazing! Taco’s are so goo! And their chicken salad is wonderful. You really get your money’s worth. We eat here at least once a week. Wonderful food, wonderful people

The food was blah, no flavor hard chewy, and a lot of fat. I expect a lot more for the price. They charge.... And the service was truly lackluster, it almost scared me away initially. Thank God I don't come here often. Cuz, I will never return

Only problem, was no paper menue. Everything else was fine. Could not read the photos on phone to see everything,, the wide-screens posted above the counters for older people were hard to read.

I wasn't going to leave a review but decided I should. I and my husband had the 2 meat combo. I was excited to eat brisket mostly. The brisket I got looked more like pulled pork and the flavor was inedible. I also got the ribs. However, I had to wipe off the sauce to eat a small bite. My sides were fries and apple jalapeño coleslaw. Opened, tasted, and closed right back. Fries were very greasy. My husband got pulled pork and brisket. You could not tell which is which. Sides were mac n cheese and beans. My son got the burger. Only thing eaten from any of us. He ate the bacon and hush puppies. Everything else we literally left on the table, walked away hungry, and a lot less money. It will not be a place we revisit. As a person who grew up going to a BBQ place every weekend I was so excited to finally try and hopefully find a life long spot. I would rather take the drive to Marion next time and eat Shulers.

First time going there because they were highly recommended. I drove from myrtle beach to check it out. I will definitely be making the trip again. Which is saying a lot due to so many restaurants near me.
I love BBQ, and I can usually find something I enjoy at every BBQ restaurant. Not this one. There's nothing on this menu that I've tried and enjoyed. I hadn't planned on leaving a review — just on the off chance others might actually like their version of barbecue — but the celebration of hate on their digital signage did it for me. When running a restaurant, you can either cook terrible food or be a terrible owner. You can't do both.

The brisket was very greasy.The Mac and cheese had so much cheese where was the noodles it will lock up up for a week not at all happy would not recommend. Also the place needed to be cleaned front doors had not been cleaned in days the sauce bottles had not been wiped down in forever nasty!!! CLEAN IT UP !!!!!

Burger was way too dry. Sweet Potato Crunch had way too much sugar in it (so much it was grainy). Apple cobbler was good. Love the tots.
