I was very disappointed with my meal at Holt Brothers, which my friends had recommended. The chicken was overcooked and extremely dry, resembling jerky and making it difficult to chew. This place right here is permanently pinned for when I travel down south. The ribs were fantastic and the wings were on another level. The wife really enjoyed the ribs. The mac and cheese along with the bbq baked beans were also delicious. But them ribs are the star of the show. If you don’t eat pork the wings are highly recommended. We cannot wait to go back! This was a last minute thought for dinner but we are more than grateful with our decision. 10 out of 10
Seen this place as we were driving by, so we decided to check it out. They have 4 different sauces, but honestly, I like the original the best. I liked the baked beans with a slight kick, and the fries are homemade, not some store-bought stuff. We had 2 combo plates, so we ordered all different meats so we could try each others stuff.
