Miyami Japanese Steakhouse

Came in at 9:35, no one at front desk taking orders after I just called and was told I had to come in to place order. Waited for a lil over 10 mins only to be told we’re closed and not taking any orders.

Our experience was nothing short of spectacular! Our favorite chef is Colin. He always brings the *heat*. If you’re ever in the mood for a good comedy show, mixed with a little hibachi… you have to ask for Colin.

Long wait,only one or two waitresses on duty , no organization, people seat 10 after us got service before use, tables too close, no extra napkins, no drink refills, and the chair was wobbly.

Grabbed dinner here tonight and WELL WORTH IT. Seated us fast, last 2 to the table and we were rolling fast. Good drinks to start, recommend the ginger dressing for salad, and HIGHLY recommend Chef Colin. He was fun, engaging, had jokes and nailed the food. I NEVER like the shrimp, his shrimp, however he seasoned them and cooked them was perfect. Steak, same way, medium rare as requestes. So good! Restored my faith in hibachi restaurants! We shall return!

We are pretty frequent visitors for lunch on Sundays. Mainly because lunch is a little less expensive. It’s always consistently good. All the chefs are top notch, and some have been there many years, but Chef Collin is our chef of choice. I think this is the only teppanyaki style restaurant in Florence. Try em out you won’t be disappointed.

Colin is the BEST CHEF !!! I would recommend him every time !! First time having rice without the yum yum sauce, that’s how good his food is ! When you come here, ask for Colin !

Rice was crunchy and hard and after meal was serve we were rush to pay given boxes and told there was other guest waiting on our room. Felt very rush and food was not to my liking. I will not return here.

I like to try sushi everywhere I go. I thought the sushi here was just okay. I only had two rolls, but I was not really impressed. I'd be willing to try them again though.
