I discovered this restaurant on my way to Savannah and have eaten here two times in tempo Dey’s because it’s that good! The burnt ends are amazing and I had them as an entree and added to the Warm Goat Cheese Salad. The service is stellar as well! I come through the area a few times a year and will definitely be back!

Good food, and great service our waitress was amazing. My daughter even said "mom you better tip her well; she is working it for her tip. Lol" She zoomed our table and other's never once allowing a drink to run out at any table and checking on us frequently but not over doing it; she made sure we/other tables, had everything needed. The pulled chicken & potato-salad was amazing. My daughter ate every drop of her chicken nacho thingy. The fried tomatoes were amazing; my daughter stole some of it from me. The ribs were delicious. Overall we enjoyed it 100%.
Parking: The pulled chicken and potatoe salad was my favorite. My daughter loved the chicken nacho. 2nd favorite fried green tamatoes Great experience.

This is such a great option for all of your smoked meats, and homestyle sides in Florence. I had the brisket platter, and it was so good! The flavor was on point, and the bbq sauces provided gave it to a great touch. The only critique I would have is that the slices of brisket were a little small as compared to other places I have been. The collards and Mac & cheese were delicious. Our waiter’s name was “Infinite,” and he was nothing short of amazing. Great personality, and very attentive. I would definitely recommend giving this place a visit. This actually wasn’t my first time here, and it most certainly won’t be my last.

This was our first time to Florence and we really wanted barbecue. What a terrific meal this was! The portions were generous for the price and all the food was delicious. I particularly liked the macaroni and cheese which was out of this world. Also the meats were all great. I think I would’ve liked more choices for types of barbecue sauce to go with them than the two that were offered. But those two were very very good. Beer selection was excellent. The flight sizes were quite large. This was my first time tasting chicken bog. I am not a fan. Our server, Tim, was excellent. I recommend this place if you’re in the area; they have live music on Sundays, per Tim.

Food was ok! Waiter was very helpful and friendly. Not sure if the Caucasian lady in restaurant was the owner or not, but she had one of the most unfriendly faces I have ever seen while dining. That explains why the place was empty.. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone nor will I be returning. Such a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Smile more, frown less!!

Everything was fantastic. We had pulled pork, burnt ends and ½ rack of ribs. The draft beer menu is more than adequate. My wife was impressed and would return. She's a BBQ snob so that's big.
My friend and I went to dinner here because her fella doesn't really care for this kind of food and she loves it. First time here and OMG it did not disappoint!!! Service, food, drinks all absolutely amazing. Everything sounded so very good and I couldn't decide. She and I opted for a 2 meat meal with two sides, so I could try different things. She chose the chicken bog and pork ends with baked beans and warm potato salad (forgot to take pic). I chose the pulled chicken and brisket with Mac n cheese and sweet potato fries. A little pricey for MY budget, but you get SO much food!!! I had leftovers for two more meals. Quality and quantity.
I'm a coffee drinker and they had an espresso drink on the menu, but it was made with vodka and I'm not a huge fan, however, Infinite, the bartender, made it with rum for me and WOW!!! A-MAZING!!! (No pics either.)
I will definitely be back and hopefully, Infinite will be working!!!
SN: I'm short and have a bad back and couldn't get up on the stools very well, but Infinite helped me, without laughing at me, laughed with me, but not at me!!! 😂😂😂

I loved the relaxed vibe at Wholly Smokin’ and the food was incredible. The pulled pork and brisket were perfectly cooked, and the house-made sauces added just the right kick. I’ll definitely be back for more!
