Edit: I did want to mention that I was very impressed that they had a sign stating they would help get you home if you couldn’t drive due to alcohol and that is pretty cool of them\n\nPros:\nBartender was great\nMexican lager was great\nAtmosphere was nice\nBathroom was clean\n\nCons\nAfter waiting about 30 mins for food I decided to leave and it happened to come out almost as soon as I decided to leave.\n\nTo their credit, the manager was cool and didn't charge for food....
Very tasty food, but (esp for Mexican fare), not everything is GF. The tacos are soft corn tortillas, which is fine. I had the Kimchi beef & grilled shrimp taco platter. Also ordered the fresh avocado & chips. The grilled shrimp taco was just ok, but all else was GREAT. Lots of these (Folly Beach) restaurants have flour-based wraps and breaded meats.. you can find GF choices, but it's limited.
We are visiting from Wisconsin on our honeymoon and Taco Boy at Folly Beach was such a fun surprise and total vibe. Our Uber driver told us to check it out, and we are so glad we did. The atmosphere was bright, colorful, and full of energy, the kind of place that instantly makes you feel like you are on vacation. The margaritas were amazing and only five dollars, which was such a great deal. The service was fantastic and our server went above and beyond to make sure we were taken...
